Not using brain again, huh?

Says all about you mate.

You have been waiting for Leo to fail so you can stick your finger up and say Rafa was better blah blah blah. You think we would be 3rd if Rafa was still here?

Please dont answer actually, 2 page posts are old now. Welcome to the ignore list.

No, it says all about you.

You called somebody a troll, and you expected flowers?

You called me first, not me you. Think about it the next time when you play "the victim".

Not to mention you try to provoke somebody when his team just lost 2-5 at home to some mid level german team. Yeah, good move.

fuck you!
it's not about age but talent, samuel will be better than rannocchia even after his 60s.
i wanna see some old trusted faces back there, in tha midfield and attack, yeah we could look for some new players but our CBs mustn't be changed: Lucio + Wall = Win

Unfortunately that is the case. Luka most of your writing nowadays is about you trying to prove how you've been right about how Inter needed more signings in the summer. And at the same time you try to defend Rafa because he didn't get his signings whereas the reason for his fuck up WAS NOT the signings, it was Rafa himself and his total inability to get respect from the team.

Rafa was a jerk who couldn't handle the team, whereas Leonardo is an incompetent as a coach trying to set up his team and the game plan for the matches.

I was only afraid of Raul and Farfan, but I knew between pace and experience it was always possible for Schalke to put the ball in our net. But 5 times???? I don't know if I have ever seen Inter concede 5.

I certainly won't forget today. Nor will Ranocchia and Chivu, LOL! To be honest, I don't think they will remember this game when they reflect on their own careers, but this has definitely tainted Chivu's career. Age finally caught up to Zanetti, watching him play Schalke onside for the 3rd goal was quite disturbing. But thats what happens when you have a backline with no pace, no acceleration. If Ranocchia was not on the field you have to say Lucio would have got to the ball to stop atleast 2 of Schalke's goals.

I don't blame Ranocchia, he is there to defend the aerial ball, and does that very well, but if you don't give him a solid (and much more mobile than himself) partner he looks static and slow and isolated, like today, leading up to the 5th goal. But really, that was Motta to blame, as he was about 1m away, and standing completely upright, not even moving towards the ball, let alone getting in a last ditch tackle!

If we get two fast fullbacks (or Maicon returns to form) then Ranoc still has a place in the team, alongside either Samuel or Lucio. Not Chivu or Cordoba though! If we get a hungry, brave, combative, active midfielder that can do EVERYTHING (Basically a 100% fit Michael Essien) then I can see us sticking with Motta and Cambiasso.

So basically, A LOT of replacements are now needed, urgently. The thing is, like Luka said, we knew this was the case even before the season started. Ranocchia and Coutinho were praised highly, but the truth is, they are just two players, and we need similar young talented replacements for Stankovic, Zanetti, Chivu, Cordoba.

We will need a 30m CB. We will need to finally resolve our fullback issues, with or w/o Maicon, I could care less at this point. It is safe to say his best is likely behind him, esp. from a defensive and physical standpoint. He is still an immense force going forwards. And we will need a new midfielder.

So folks sometimes I really like the character of Zamparini, I would like Morratti learns from him at some point.

As a patron when you see your coach is making a stupid enough lineup/tactician, only you can slam him

Leo's unforgivable guiltiness:

1) Play Motta as defence MF in derby and today, Motta is too slow, no cover to assist the defence, our CB always need to face 2 opposite strikers DIRECTLY.
2) Play Zanetti as LB, captain is the only trustable defensive MF in the squad, LB should be Nagatomo
3) Play Eto'o in central and let Milito to dribble/pass the balls in the left wing for majority times in the first half, simply stupid
4) No in-time substitute after schalke scores the 3rd goal

I really dislike someone who continues moaning Lucio and Samuel's absent, I can only say you lack of the basic knowledge of schalke04, MATIP and SARPEI who play CB and LB today has been seriously criticized by 04's fans for ages! they are not first choice at all, today's opportunity all owe to teammate's injury. SARPEI has not played for several months just because he is rubbish - so he leaded inter's second goal.

In all honesty Benitez never got beat 3-0 by Milan, or 5-2 by Schalke despite having an injured squad. He is still a better manager than Leonardo, by far. The problem is, his man-management sucks.

I don't know why you are all surprised though. You were very lucky to have beaten Bayern anyway who were the better team throughout but were wasteful.

Many fans walked out towards the end of the game, especially as it was just three days after the 3-0 Milan derby defeat, but the Curva Nord ultras continued to sing: ‘We will never leave you.’

I didn't support Inter during the dark years. I started following Inter in the beginning of 2000's, seeing Ronaldo play there, when I was just a kid. When he left, I didn't support Real Madrid, I started supporting Inter, especially after matches against Milan in 2003/04, and against Arsenal, same season I think. We lost in those matches, but I somehow liked our players' behavior. I fully started supporting Inter after winning over Sampdoria 2-3, that just made my whole day, and proved to me that football (especially Inter) is unpredictable. Since then I've only seen the great Inter, winning everything that's possible to win (except Super Cup), and I've been spoiled, honestly. I've been used to see Inter win and win and win, and these two losses just hit me too hard, but I still have hopes high, and I know that this Inter can bounce back. We've been through deeper shit than this, and we can make it, either CL or Scudetto.

FORZA INTER! NON MOLLARE MAI!
