By the way it's interesting that Trabzonspor also beat Inter at home on 14,9,1983 with a score of 1-0...

^ Funny thing is I read that somewhere before the game that they lost to them 1-0 only time they played against eachother & I was like "WTf, how the hell did they lose to them back in the day?"

Now that's pretty ironic now...

Never ever was the pokerface smiley better suited to a situation than when the full-time whistle was blown & I got reminded of what I read before the game.

To me the only thing that truly went wrong today was the finishing. Gasp cannot be blamed for this one. Nor can a shitty midfield/age/MM/branca none of that. I wouldn't mind seeing us line up with the 4-3-3 again against Roma. With Zarate on the left, Forlan on the right and Sneijder in the midfield. If were going to play a midfield with Zanetti and Cuchu there is no reason Wes can't be in it.

went to AC milan forum, they laugh at us mock us but some fans can see the big picture :

Sage : this was just a freak result for inter, they missed shit loads of chances, I reckon they would have won if forlan played,
I bet they demolish roma on saturday.

Redman10 : Inter is going through what Milan went through after they won the CL in 07. Management getting complacent after a CL win. Losing Mourinho didn't help either

Senatore M84: Just watched highlights of inter. Yeah... no etoo makes no difference. soooo many misses. They actually did create a lot of chances

Ok Interisti, let's look at this logically and try not to attack each other:

1. Milan goes to Barcelona with a team that probably costs in salaries and transfer fees 50% of Barcelona and draws.
2. Napoli goes to Manchester with a team that probably costs in salaries and transfer fees 10% of Man City and draws.
3 A Turkish team that probably costs 10% in salaries and transfer fees of Inter comes to Milano and wins.

Now, given that our personnel are far superior to those of the Turkish club, who do you blame? Even the most stubborn of you must blame the organization, tactics and motivation. Who provides that to a team?

The last time we started the season 0-3: 1921-1922 season when we lost to Legnano (6-0), Torino (1-0), Pisa (7-2), Modena (2-1), and Alessandria (5-0). We started 0-5 this season.

The last time we lost 3 straight: in April of 2000 when we lost to Udinese (3-0), Lazio (2-1) and Juve (2-1).

DAMN!

This whole match was a giant :yao:

Regardless of the score it was just a horrendous, abomination of a match. I probably spent more time looking over my shoulder at my TV watching Man City - Napoli. If there was a highlight reel for this match, it would be 20 seconds and would just show the goal because there was nothing else worth remotely remembering anyway.

Ok...let me fucking get this: WE LOST! As in lost @ HOME to Trabzonspor! Not to Farca, not BBilan, not to Real, not even to fucking Spurs or City...No! To a team that got a lucky berth into the comp! Is that what the fuck I am hearing here?!?! I was on a fucking Amtrak train for 2 days; only to get off, get into my room, fire up the laptop & this?!?!? I don't care what the fuck anyone has gotta to say: If they don't get rid of Gasp with immediate effect, we are gonna get so fucked this season; we will go begging Leo to come back! And please no one should come preaching to me how we never start well in these comps, how we dominated for 90 mins..bla bla bla! Its one thing to have a solid team & tactician & just get unlucky & a completely different thing to have a stubborn-caught-in-the-50s dude for a coach!

Felt like a dumbass paying $9.99 to stream the game from UEFA.

All the streams out there are practically way too slow for my net (buffer 5-10 seconds to watch for every other second), and plus vito quality isn't streaming this game. Not ever going to be doing this again, never ever.

I went onto inter.it to read the interviews but then I realised I didn't want to hear a fucking word out of any of these sorry failures, after seeing headlines such as:

Milito: "We didn't deserve to lose"
"That's football, unfortunately. But today we gave very little away and let in an incredible goal"

No Diego, we definitely deserved to lose.

Ranocchia: "Shame, we were growing"
"Now we have to stay united and raise our heads. We must redeem ourselves against Roma"

Growing? No we weren't. If anything we somehow regressed compared to the 3-4-3.

Zanetti: "Heads down to work"
"It's a difficult moment. But united with the fans, we'll get through it. Now to work for Saturday"

I love the dude, but typical Zanetti shit. I hate reading comments like this after humiliating losses.

Julio Cesar: "Together to find the right path"
"We didn't expect a defeat like that. The only thing to do is to work hard to overcome it"

Together to find the right path to walk home from GM I hope.

and my favourite:

Gasperini: "I saw important performances"
"Unlucky, but the players gave 120%. I saw a great reaction. We start again from here"

 ok.

Reaction of Gasp and the players make much more sense than your's. It is not the end of the world. Only way to get back on track is hard work and belief in what we are doing. Forza Inter.

Hi, I didn't see the game. We had a lot of chances, but didn't score. They had 1 chance (offside) and scored.

How was our performance?
Did the 4-3-1-2 work?

I didn't watch the game as well...but after reading through this thread...from what I understood

we were stable with the new formation as compared to 343 but our forwards didn't finish their chances...
