my interpretation of that is that net transfer spend needs to be 0. Bear in mind our big spend this window has been mainly Bosman so far, though.

Given this, i wouldnt be surprised if we dont bother trying to get to 0 this season, and do it in July onwards instead. With the planned, say, 40 mil of Youth sales, selling Joao Mario (say 25m), Eder (7m), etc, we could still quite easily have an 80/90 mil euro war chest for spending on players.

ALSO, worth pointing out, last time we had this breach - the imposition was ONLY ON THE REGISTERED SQUAD. Remember when we left Kdog out of the Europa League? That was why. It might be that the CL squad needs to be 0 net, but not the Serie A.

Here is why Inter did not meet UEFA requirements

A few minutes ago, a huge blow came for all Inter and its supporters. UEFA just announced in an official statement that Inter have not completely and fully met requirements imposed by FFP and therefore it must stay in the settlement agreement until the end of 2018-19 season.

At the moment, many Inter fans are wondering about this decision and why it is still happening to Inter given that the club is well on its way to make 40 million in capital gains by June 30th.

Calcio e Finanza explains the situation that “UEFA analyzed Inter’s balance sheet until June 30, 2017 and according to European Football Association, Inter are doing well in respecting the break-even objective, thus closing the budget at 0 at the end of June. The club’s account was therefore approved, including sponsorship by Suning.

“What was not approved is related to the sporting area, in particular the amount of depreciation of its the players. In fact, Inter had the obligation to reduce depreciation of assets, according to UEFA agreement. The numerous signings last seasons such as those of Gabriel Barbosa and Joao Mario did not allow Inter to meet obligations because not only depreciation has not gone down but they have increased. Therefore, for this reason, Inter will have limitations such as restrictions of A list with 22 players for UEFA competitions and obligation to be even on outgoing and incoming transfers.”

Ok, but this should be for next season?! I mean if we get Nainggolan (25m), Dembele (15m), Politano (25m), Martinez (already 25m), we'll have to sell players for 90m till 30 of June 2019 to make it equal?

This is why we should not commit to horrible 30m€ transfer fee 5x5m€ salary Nainggolan deals. Or Dembele's same kind of deal (4 years or 5, doesn't make any difference).

Yeah. That pretty much sums up the situation.

Sky - Inter, a company that has long known this Uefa sentence. Market, it does not change anything because ...

"Inter will have restrictions on the Uefa list, which means that each player on the list must pay a transfer of identical value. So, if Inter bought Nainggolan for 30 million, to put it on the list will have to sell for the same amount.

But this is nothing new for Inter, the company knew for a long time that this was the result of UEFA. And as for the budget balance agreed in the settlement agreement, Inter will resolve it by June 30th so for that there are no problems and for the market nothing changes because Inter was already aware of his situation " .

So Sky Sports commented on the UEFA sentence on Inter, with the Nerazzurri who have partially respected the obligations of the settlement agreement

Yeah. That pretty much sums up the situation.

Bear in mind with this restriction it will be direct valuation and not book impact I suspect. For example if we sell JM Eder and a bunch of youth for 70mil that will go a long way for us already.

Also as I mentioned it's probably a restriction on who we can register for Europe, not Eerie a

if net spending needs to be zero, the 3 Sporting free agent is a must for any wages. they could arrive for our 3 empty holes in the starting lineup.

Fuck UEFA and Italy needs to allow these clubs to run their stadiums. The future isn't bright at all.

This is why we need Bruno Fernandes and Gelson Martins more than Malcolm or Dembele. They cost nothing and we get two good players with potential big resale value

So it means we shouldn't buy players whose values depreciate? Meaning no more Nainngolan or Dembele?! If it's true then I fucking love these new sanctions.

Now let's go buy Cancelo, a player whose value will definitely appreciate.

so? the future isn't bright at all now with uefa verdict?

and today they sold TV rights, LOL from 940 mil to 970 mil a season, when other leagues going 50-60% more with their deals.

i was surprised by this. 10 years ago i would never belive serie a tv domestic deal can be worst than L1 or La liga.
germany? ok they have money, 80 mil people, better country than italy, strong market, big shit and all, just look at kappa and on adidas

yes, go buy ur nainggolans and dembeles ROFL, we got only one way. buy young unknown players and do something out of nothing- nothing is italy as a country and italian players, they are so good that they will watch mundial at home

we have to watch every euro and start to do the safe shit.
good luck, we need it.

This doesn't remove conspiracies of FFP being used in protecting the big clubs and punishing Inter despite abiding to the rules. We broke even and made huge money. What more do UEFA want?
