Stumbled upon this on Calcio e Finanza:

Liverpool deals with Nike's richest partnership ever in the Premier

Liverpool Nike - Liverpool would be involved in an advanced negotiation to sign a partnership with Nike, which would become the new technical sponsor of the Reds to replace New Balance. As reported by ESPN, the deal is expected to exceed even that signed by Manchester United and Adidas, worth 750 million pounds, becoming the richest contract ever signed in the history of the Premier League.

The agreement between Liverpool and New Balance - worth 45 million pounds a year - will expire at the end of the 2019/2020 season and the American brand, according to ESPN, would have a clause available that would allow it to extend its collaboration with the club by drawing any offer from other brands.

Liverpool would also talk to Adidas and Puma in an attempt to get the highest possible amount for sponsoring the new game uniform, but Nike would have arrived sooner. Liverpool's goal, to anticipate the times, is to reach an agreement before the New Balance contract enters its final year.

At the moment, the 100 million pounds per year contract for Barcelona, started in 2018, is the richest in the world of football, even higher than the £ 98 million partnership between Real Madrid and Adidas in 2015 If Liverpool cannot yet aspire to such figures, a research commissioned by the a.d. of the club, Billy Hogan, has shown that the Reds can get an agreement of at least the same level.

Will we ever fucking rescind deal with Nike and get someone who can give us at least 35-50 million EUR annually? The EPL bubble is getting ridiculous. More than 75 million quid per year, fuck me. Liverpool's revenues will soon reach 600m per year with this rate, just recently they aimed at 500m per year, now with consistent CL runs and the sponsorship deals like this 600m is reachable.

We are stuck till June 2024 with the risible contract moratti signed (when he was already dealing with thohir to sell Inter). Unless there are clauses that I don't know of.

Not just Moratti, Fassone himself was coordinating renewal with Nike. How come we ended up getting less than Milan despite just recently winning treble and having long history with Nike is beyond me. Fassone's Midas touch (with the only difference being the fact that anything he touches becomes shit) really was decisive. He failed at Inter, failed at Milan. He also signed Puma deal which is 8million less than what Adidas gave to Milan, it's 13-15 million with bonuses- just laughable deal for 2018.

As for the potential clauses- I think there can be a mutual decision and the penalty for early termination of the contract can be less than 50 miilion, the remaining sum under this contract. Nike makes ugly designs anyway so I doubt that Adidas and Puma can fare worse than that.

so, according to many outlets, that some of you guys have linked over the last days, suning is concerned that sacking spalletti to hire another coach would cost too much and it might not be worth spending that much money.

which per se makes sense: they might not be right, but there is a rationale to that.

but then i remember that if we just sign one player for 30 mil and it's a waste of money, that would be more than what would cost to change coach.

so i hope they know what they are doing.

To be blunt theres no point sacking him for the sake of it. If his ideas are shitty now that hes finally unrestrained by FFP etc, then it's a different story.

Our goal this season was to consolidate our CL place and we are on track to do that. We have a lot of money to throw at overhauling the squad finally and will be looking to get rid of people like Dalbert JM etc I would expect

Even though i believe Spalletti has reached his ceiling with us and i want him gone, i would keep him for one more season if his compensation is going to affect our transfer budget. Especially if his replacement is going to be Antonio Conte. We need a better coach to close the distance with Juve but above all we need much better players. That's should be our priority this summer.

Let's not forget though that a single 30 mil bad transfer will affect us as much economically.

So it's not so clear-cut, even under that point of view, seeing as last summer's transfer session didn't make Inter an overall stronger team.

What A Third Place Finish Is Worth To The Inter Players

Inter players will be due a big bonus if they are to finish third in Serie A this season which would in turn secure them qualification to the Champions League according to Corriere dello Sport.

€4 million will be spread across the squad if they finish in third but if they are to somehow pip Napoli to second place, €5.5 million will instead be shared between the team.

These figures were agreed in recently concluded negotiations between the club leadership and players, who had been led by former captain Mauro Icardi. Since losing the captaincy in February, Samir Handanovic took over.

The report from the Roma based newspaper goes on to state that Champions League qualification is absolutely fundamental to Inter’s goals.

Qualifying for the Champions League will see Inter pocket at least €40 million, a sum of money which will help Inter toward having the transfer window that they dream of.

Moreover, the report states that Inter will need to produce capital gains for one final time before exiting their settlement agreement with UEFA. It will be between €30 and €40 million and the final sum required will largely be determined by the league finish and could be affected by other factors including new sponsors.

The latest sponsor is technology company Samsung, who have struck an agreement with Inter’s owners Suning to sell Inter branded merchandise from washing machines to tv’s and mobile phones.

What the hell, I thought we were already done with this :chan:

I am not really concerned by those 30-40 mil. With the sales of Perisic and Dalbert for example this should be covered. Does it mean we will only be able to buy in August though?

With UCL and El we had 5 more games! I don't know Coppa Italia. That's more than 3m per game! Sounds realistic?

Last fiscal year we had more commercial revenues that Juventus (7 times champions and 2x UCL finalist) and more than double that Milan (who had better sponsor deal with Emirates and Puma and a bigger fan base in the world)!
It's not curios! Someone told about money laundering. It's too harsh, but let be serious, these are money Suning are pouring in the club through third parts! All those asiatic firms who suddently make sponsor deals with Inter! It's more than obvious.

Unbelievable numbers. Can they be true? How much our average attendance has gone up? We've increased our ticket prices? That Inter-Barcelona was 5,x millions so that was a big boost, but then only Tottenham, PSV and Frankfurt matches added. Rapid Wien match was probably for almost empty stadium, no?

Suning is doing great to the club. It doesn’t make immediate effect like PSG or Man city, but we will see this in the long term.

The article states that this is because of the CL, the ticket policy (higher price for big match and deals and offer for small games) and the hospitality that is now managed directly. The article says that this is the best results in his history. True is that despite the results of the pitch Inter is closing the gap with Juve, at the end of the day Milan has way more potential then Turin

Honestly, the "immediate" effect is only related to the instant improvement of their squads. For the money spent all of these years, PSG/CIty should have had at least a final in CL.
