Before the Roma match I though that 7 points from Roma, Juve and Viola matches would put Inter to a very good position in the Scudetto race. Now we have 3 points and IMO the hardest match already behind from those three.

I think that the Scudetto can be won with a little over 80 points this season, something in the range of 81-83 points. We have 44 points with 89 points being our maximum. 15 games left, which means 12 wins + 3 draws OR 13 wins and 2 defeats could get us to 83 points. So we need to maintain our consistency of racking up points and we must not lose to Milan in derby. Those are probably the two most important goals for our Serie A season. With the current forms, Milan loses more points than we do so winning the derby is not an absolute necessity, but not losing it is. By playing consistently and not lose to Milan should do it for us IMO.

Generally, it's simply great to have super tight Serie A this season. So much more excitement when we have a new visitor in the top flight (Napoli) who just isn't going to get out of there. Lazio will fall for sure, but I'm not sure about Napoli at all. They have a very good first lineup and now they got some reinforcements so they are really tough nut to crack. Also the battle for the CL spots is fierce. There are Lazio, Roma, Juventus, even Palermo and Udinese are there for now. Very exciting season indeed.

we have sorely missed this lack of competition which was not only bringing our teams standard down, but of the whole league as well. Hopefully this new added competition from other teams means that our league can slowly get back up their with the best

If Parma v Viola is anything to go by Hernan will be on the bench, I think Milan should bag 3 easy points here, Il nose has always enjoyed facing Parma. The prospective nightmare for Merda's defence would be Giovinco & Palladino wreaking havoc on the wings. How could a team consisting of Antonini, Abaete, Oddo and Bonera as fullbacks be leading Serie A is beyond me, we have Rafa to thank for that..

That would be an amazing statistic, but not surprising since it's Serie A. Aren't Serie A games more tactical/defensive or is that just a horrible stereotype? This probably happens alot in La Liga.

That is correct. All other teams who have scored 3 goals or more have won the match except for this one: Juventus 3-3 Sampdoria.
