So we're certainly finishing ahead of Roma. If Frosinone could pull off a miracle against Milan tomorrow, we would secure CL even before our match.

Is life ever that good to us?

Edit: Kramerica points out that life has been really quite to us this year, fair enough

Yeah a draw between them would suffice. But it would really be a miracle.

If bbilan wins, we still need 2 points.

That's not really the thing.

They are protesting the fact that their club is losing its identity, the fact that their owners don't give a shit about what Roma is and the fact that their heroes are treated like dog shit.

I would say only at Roma. I haven't seen like that in another team. Instead of fans protesting because of the lack of ambition from the owner, they're doing it because the time has come for a club legend to retire. Only at Roma players are bigger than the club.

So Verona was leading 1-0 while Perugia were playing 10 for 25 minutes and Perugia just converted a late PK. 1-1 for the promotion race. Don't recall if this goes to ET or not.

But you don't lose your identity because you don't extend the contract of a player who is ready to go into retirement.

At least the timing for their protest is ridiculous.

By the way, I still have to understand how you are supposed to "treat" a player. They even told about it two weeks before the end of the league, despite the team being involved in the champions League race, so that he will receive a proper farewell from the supporters.

It's a general protest, De Rossi's treatment is just the last straw.

What a stop by the Perugia GK in the 95th minute!

But what was Roma supposed to do with De Rossi? :eek:blivious:

I mean, the guy each year in the last 10 years (or maybe more) has earned enough to not work anymore in his life. What else does the club owe him?

Verona score, 2-1. (There's ET after all)

Excellent strike.

As for De Rossi, it's much more than that. Did you like how we treated Cambiasso?

Pazzini with a typical Pazzini goal :D 3-1 :pazzini:

4-1 Pazzo.. Super sub. Fuck, I'd take him as our sub

Tbf the deal he offered them was ideal for an older legend. I'd be fucking pissed if our management didn't accept that if a player like Zannetti, Cambiasso or Samuel came up with that

Is life ever that good to us?

An argument no doubt exists that us being in 3rd at 66 points after finishing 4th with 72 points a year ago and being in the pole position to reach the CL despite our many setbacks is proof that life has been good this season for us when it comes to our competitors. We've been quite fortunate that they've all taken bigger steps backwards this year than we have.

The total number of points of all teams is still the same. If people say Lazio/Roma stepped backwards there must be other teams progressing —> getting points from lower teams is harder.

This is a league, not knock-out matches against Roma or Lazio.

Inzaghi to Juve potentially? What do yous think? He plays very attacking football but it could allow teams to get at them. Although he usually beats the smaller teams and struggles vs the top teams. With juve who knows, he might still beat the small teams and do better against the better teams. Its a tough one. Certainly a gamble though. One thinhs for sure, he and juve will become even more unlikeable

Don't have one.

Apparently lazio or inzaghi canceled the press conference, so he can avoid potential questions about jube, but how hard can it be to deny it until the end of the season, because this basically confirms it.:D

Regarding inzaghis qualities I don't know what to think tbh, we will see, one thing is for sure, monkey in a suit would have won some of the trophies jube won in last couple of years given the total incompetence of other clubs. As I said earlier if someone can challenge them next season they could have problems, its not easy when you break the type of continuity they had with alegri, and its about bloody time after all these years.
