They're non-league. They actually play in a league that isn't even recognized by the USSF. But they're famous for being the most "European" in nature since it was founded by normal people and they have a lot of local support in Detroit.

Since when lol? When we won CL in 2010, Serie A was much, much stronger. Maybe compared to the shitshow of the last 2-3 years, but back then there was some interesting competition. We had to play until the very end to win the league, even though we were CL finalists that got past Chelsea and Barcelona.

I feel like both Serie A and EPL have gotten several times weaker, while La Liga/Bayern seem to be the only ones with improvement.
