If we don't wanna blow another scudetto or the CL final, we should bring some experienced midfielder with trophies under his belt. Our midfield is solid but still lacks the composure elite midfielders posses. That's why I don't think SMS is a good idea.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFA strange hire for Napoli. I guess ADL didn’t want to deal with the headache of trying to lure another manager to Naples all summer. Luis Enrique would’ve been my choice myself but maybe his demands were too high.

Best Overall PosterIt was reported Luis Enrique wasn't convinced about the project. And i can't really blame him. Giuntoli wants to leave. Kim will probably get sold. Osimhen doesn't want to renew and he could also get sold. Many uncertainties at Napoli.
Disappointed they didn't even go for one of the emerging Serie A coaches like Italiano or Motta. They would have been more interesting hirings than Rudi Garcia.

10 years of FIFI don't even think that ADL was aiming for Scudetto in last season before it began. They made major changes in their squad and there was so much gamble regarding new players. Scudetto chance was given to them and they took it.

10 years of FIFi would wait for this, i see too much optimis here. Last season we also expected Napoli to end fifth if not worse. Yeah things not always happen, but you never know. First we have to see how many starters will stay and how they will get replaced. Garcia is for sure a weak solution but again, better not jinx it. Then there is still Milan, let's see if they will spend money now or continue getting mediocre players. Juve could start from 0, who knows how good they will be. Roma is doing an interristing mercato for now, if Inter and all other teams start to suck again, they could be the suprise next season.

We’ll be hard pressed to do worse league wise than we did last year. I mean what was it, 12 losses? A large amount of those being against inferior teams who scammed us with last minute winners. If we can even take a third of those 12 losses and turn them into draws that’s four points right there.
I think inzaghi has learned a lot over the last year and has evolved his style of all attack to a more balanced approach. I’m hopeful if we can bring lukaku back we’ll get prime Lula with no Dzeko to break them up. I’m sure if Ausilio camps outside Chelsea HQ begging long enough Chelsea will take a deal for him.
