That kind of arrogance is luxury for us.

Nesta is new Monza coach. Good luck with that.
It's not arrogance but denying that we are favourite if we keep our roster and healthy is kinda silly to be honest. I bet you all betting sites will have us first to win serie A.

Juventus already getting business done with Koopmeiners and Calafiori. Not sure if they'll hit a blockade due to the funding, but they have player agreements and unlike us, typically that gets it done for them.

And Milan will probably land Zirkzee which is one of the moves that make sense. That'd give Leao much more space, the kid has been suffocated all season long by defenses.

Napoli's mercato is where's at. If Osimhen and/or Kvaratchelia leave, things will become odd. Might be oddly good or oddly bad.

I have a feeling that Milan will regret their decision of sacking Pioli. I'd even say the same for gobbi as well. Motta has done an amazing job at Bologna, but he's not a proven winner, unless their project is a long term one, and I'm still sceptic on his ability to overcome difficult times in a top club. It's easy to throw your coach under the bus while your team is on a transition.

Motta is an interesting one. His Bologna team was very measured, very cautious with its build up prioritising possession over risk. One of the few criticisms that was levelled against them was that lack of attacking pace, as in the pace they moved the ball in the opposition half, and the relative lack of goals that resulted. Juventus last season were a team without much of a clue how to run games, but they were effective on the counter attack.

It's not like Inzaghi taking over from Conte with a broadly identical way of how to play the game and making some tweaks; this will be much more of a whole shift in style for them.

Pioli is a bad coach. Probably the worst coach to ever win Serie A in the modern era. There's a reason we have beaten them and oft dominated them the last 10 or so derbies. He has absolutely no back up plans and his entire gameplan revolves are putting speed everywhere and just out talenting teams. He literally played his tenure at Milan like he was playing FIFA. They hardly ever control games they just press the opponent into a mistake or Leao/Theo create goals on their own. Pioli could never do what Motta did at Bologna. They will absolutely be better simply because any coach can play the football he did.

Some damn club is going to offer dumb money for Chiesa, a player who never plays, and Juve will be able to further reinforce the squad. Sucks seeing them completely fix their club in the matter of weeks.
