I can tell you one thing. Jankulovski wouldn´t play as a left back with us because he IS a left winger! It was just in the NT that they had to find a place for him in the lineup and it was as a left back.

At Inter, we actually have space for a natural left winger ala Jankulovski.

Nope.

Either he played as a left winger, or he played as an attacking central midfielder.

Are you sure about Janku's position ? I've always thought that Spalletti used him as a left-wingback at Udinese..

Still, i'd pick Jankulovski ahead of Cesar because he's younger and can defend better too. Cesar is a better dribbler sure, but we need a solid left-back if we intend to use Emre/Deki on the left wing.

On paper he played as a left wingback since Udine plays with a three-men defence. But Udine goes against all logics with that formation and use very offensive wingers.

Jimmy is right. He takes the role of Nedved with the club and that is why he was invisible with the national team. Now after Nedved retired, for sure he will play a big role.

Well... Would he push Emre´s LM spot? That would infuriate people here... ;)

Well I would pay up to € 30 mil. for him.

Invisible ? What Euro where you watching ?

Along with Ashely Cole and Zambrotta he was the best left-back. He pushed forward a lot and created openings, not to mention being solid at the back.

Well the bottom-line is that i'd prefer to see him at Inter rather than Cesar.

Cole did very well to stop the likes of Ronaldo, Pires and Henry. Janku was just a shadow against Latvia and agianst the Dutch, Robben did give him a hard time.
He was good at times but certainly not what i expected from him.

I was sad to see him play in a different position and along with Rosicky; both of them were just not half the players they are with their clubs.

Ok it's your point of view and i respect it. :)

P.S. Robben plays on the left wing not the right. The Czech Republic player that was a joke against the Dutch was Ajax man Zdenek Grygera, and not Marek Jankulovski. ;)

btw goal.com is reporting that we might present Cesar to the press tomorrow.

My bad. You are right mate. I guess Janku did a good stop then stopping our worst nightmare VDM :D

But still i am sure he would have pretty well if he was playing instead of Nedved.
