Obviously Marotta is at fault, but also our owners being such cucks.

I don't mind Perišić leaving (he was here for more than 5 seasons), but it's not replacing him with somebody that can actually play that hurts the most.
Yea i was hoping we could get Kostic as his replacement

CalcioMercato claim that Italian giants Inter Milan now regret letting Ivan Perisic leave them for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

The Croatian spent seven years as an Inter Milan player and he was magnificent for them. Now that he’s gone, the Nerazzurri are struggling, having lost three of their last four games in all competitions.
Perisic’s contract at Inter Milan expired at the end of last season. The Nerazzurri were desperate to keep hold of him and even made multiple contract offers to convince him to stay.

The Croatian, however, demanded a salary of £5.25 million a year (€6m). Inter weren’t willing to meet those demands and neither were Juventus, who were also reportedly interested in signing him.

Tottenham were more than happy to pay him that figure. Football London revealed in May that Spurs agreed to meet his salary demands, and Perisic ended up joining the club on a two-year-deal.

The 33-year-old has been incredible for the North Londoners this season. He has provided three assists in four starts, and Spurs fans are beyond delighted to have him at their club now.

Inter, on the other hand, reportedly have big regrets over their decision to let him leave. Simone Inzaghi has just not been able to replace him properly, and their performances without the Croatian have been awful recently.

It really did seem like a mistake when Inter Milan decided they will not meet Perisic’s demands to keep hold of him. It was also clear to many that he’d be a huge hit at Tottenham right after Spurs signed him.

Even Arsenal legend Ian Wright claimed that Perisic would be ‘amazing’ for Tottenham, and after six appearances in all competitions this season, we’re all seeing his class.
There’s still a lot of the season left to be played, and there will be plenty of ups and downs. Spurs may well slip up and Inter could go and become the champions of Italy.

However, early signs certainly suggest that Tottenham have come out as the big winners following Perisic’s arrival.

Just saw Spurs lineup and he's playing RWB today. I'm soo gutted because that's what we should've done since last January.

Honestly i think letting him go was the right thing, he's 33 and playing as wb. According to the news he asked for 3y contract which was risky imo, no guarantee he'll be excellent or motivated next seasons. Also his dream was playing for big EPL team.

The problem is his replacement, i believe the owner knows that Gosens isn't fully fit yet and they should try to find proper replacement like Kostic or any other reliable lwb.

What? Why would we do that? We had Dumfries on the right last season and Gosens was injured until March.

Arteta was coached by Wenger as a player and mentored by Pep at City. I'm pretty sure he is far from amateur.

Went to check the stats he has at Arsenal. Sure, previous seasons had too many losses, but so far this season only one loss. Overall, almost had 60% win rate overall, which actually is pretty good for a coach in his 3rd full season (first season he came in the middle)

I heard the whole team was complete shit yesterday (apart from Lloris)
Same. I don't think they are talking about just yesterday. Currently browsing the spurs subreddit to find out more.
