Fuck the Achilles tendon is a tough recovery but if anyone can do it is Il Capitano. I really want to see him one more time out there.

No, and for zanetti he used to do that a lot times years ago, now he does ONCE a game at 85th minute and always lose the ball and this is the only thing that make in the game
honestly where the fuck do these zanetti trolls come from!! zanettis ball retention when he does get forward is phenomenal. hes not the most creative player but he loses the ball far less than any other outfield player most games. occasionally we still get glimpses of him charging into the box and getting a shot or 2 on target after beating 2-3 defenders.

jonathon has had 2 or 3 good games after months of crap and has failed to win us any games, zanetti has bn consistently one of our best players for the last 2 abysmal seasons including his games this year!

Terrible news. All I know for sure is that a legend and great person like him does not deserve to go out this way. Hopefully he can come back from this and get a few games next season.

:fu:

Are you kidding me?
WHAT???!! INJURED?????!!??? $(#@#$(*@#$*#()*$)@(#$!!!! :fu: :fu:

Estimated recovery time for a torn Achilles tendon is 8 months; however, for a 40 year old, likely the effects will sadly be devastating upon his career.

Zanetti, regardless of whether or not you come back, you are a legend of this club and will be remembered as THE Inter player in the entire history of this club. You broke records for Argentina, and you fought in the colors of this club when we were at the bottom to bring us to the top of the world.

Who scored that legendary goal against Lazio in the UEFA Cup Final back in 1997?
Who grew up in the barrios of Argentina during a military junta and overcame numerous obstacles to play football?
Who is the quintessential sportsman?
Who established one of the most productive charities in Buenos Aires?
Who turned down an offer from Real Madrid to continue playing for the Nerazzurri?
Who was denied entrance into Independiente for being to small but was signed by Banfield, eventually securing a transfer to an Italian club called Inter Milan as the first acquisition by the newly installed owner, in time becoming captain of this club and of the Argentina national team?

One answer: Javier Zanetti.

Zanetti and cambiasso are ex players since madrid final, you should visit some italian inter forum to read what inter fans that watch games think about these 2 players.
Cambiasso is called ' the trafic control person' because he don't run and shakes arms to indicate to mates where they have to run.
For zanetti we was tired to see him always as a starter, playing just for his records, spending more times to make his records armbands than training

yeah, well, no one ever said italians were above stupidity....

after all, this is a country that has put berlusconi in power 3 times already and almost did it a fourth time.. and the parliament as a whole voted in a legal statement that said they believe Berlusconi's Ruby/Mubarak shit.

so lets apply some critical thinking to that situation, eh?

yes im sure Zanetti keeps up his incredible fitness with lack of training, that makes a lot of sense.

maybe you should stick to those sites since none of us actually watch games so we probably aren't worth arguing with
