Muntari is a dead man walking surely. Well not literally but he has to be heading towards the exit.

Our plan should be evolved around first team players, not the "backup" players that will fit in "what if" case.

He is indeed one of the best DMs in the world, but we are set in that area... We would have Cambi/mascherano/Deki/Motta/Mariga for those 2 spots.. And that is IF we sell Muntari... So unless we offload 2 players no need of mascherano, it is a fact...

plus, as i said before, if we sell maicon and buy masch, who the fuck will creare our play, who will connect the defense with sneijder, when both cambi and mascherano suck at passing and creativity...

I said the same thing, we have plenty of playerS of that profile!!!
I know he's good, 26 years old [best years ahead of him], already Argentine NT Captain [I don't agree with that]... but Liverpool are asking much and we could use that money to land a player we actually need - a 2way midfielder for instance, or a world class versatile winger if we stick to 4-2-3-1.

If Inter buy mascherano and play him in midfield with cambiasso it will allow the like of sneijder, eto'o, pandev, milito and etc to focus more on attact. but on the other side he's expensive and we already have players in that position. it might also take away mariga chance to play.

we'll be less likely to concede goals with the 2nd formation if the front 4 are allowed to play that high up

and anyway, Cambiasso will be on the left with mascherano, not right. and Eto will be higher up than pandev. Camb & Masch will give Maicon and Zanetti space to push forward instead of just Maicon

I'd expect the offense to run through the wings a lot more (especially Maicon(like Bayern)). Sneijder would also have to track back more often to retrieve the ball.

apart from Buffon or Chiellini (just for debates sake) our team will be entirely better than Juve's in every single position on the pitch than theirs was last season. that difference can't be underestimated

you can't compare Sissoko - Melo with Cambiasso - Mascherano. the quality of those partnerships is almost on another level. ours would be completely solid and far less stupid than Juve's. it'd just give way more freedom for other players to be creative. Maicon, Zanetti, Sneijder, Eto, Pandev. these players will all be in or around the midfield area, ready to retrieve a pass, ready to distribute one. our 3 attackers aren't just gonna be standing up in the penalty box waiting for the ball to arrive

I just don't see the problem... why does sneijder have to be pushed that far up? isn't pandev, milito and Eto enough of an attack threat up front? Sneijder will be the main link and will sit a fair bit in front of the DMF's, almost on line with pandev and Eto, just a little further back

i wasn't comparing the players because inter are clearly miles ahead but juve's squad is top 3 material and they finished SEVENTH

inter's squad already has a problem with creativity so why do you think that giving the players more freedom would mean that the players no longer have to hold back in the creative department?
