i was pretty harsh on this transfer when it went down in january, and i still think we overpaid his market value, but he was really, really impressive at the copa america. he has the talent and more importantly i feel he has the right attitude to do well here. welcome to inter jeison!

to be fair grosso came here when he was 29. i could also counter that with beppe bergomi who beasted as an 18 yo and broke into the italy national team in the 1982 world cup.

you shouldnt judge a player solely off his international pedigree (medel, forlan among other examples), but murillo showed a lot of talent regardless and i dont think anyone can deny that. coupled with his youth it looks like a fairly promising signing. we should show him a lot of patience because it may take some time to settle into a new league and a new club.

Murillo coming to train in this week, he's shortening his vacations to be able to win his spot at Inter. That's something really good if it's true, because then he can settle a little better. I'm glad we got him at 8M, that was a "Steal" now, but a calculated risk in january.
