He should play against better oponents, primavera isn't the right choice to let this guy grow.

I'd loan him out to some small leagues, like the austrian or swiss league. But we all know Inter has no success at developing young players.

Wasn't some Milan fan calling Paletta one of the best Serie A defenders last season?

Inter Primavera hero Jens Odgaard reportedly did not know he was playing against Gabriel Paletta in their 3-0 win against Milan on Saturday.

Odgaard scored a hat-trick against Inter’s arch-rivals, but Milan’s defeat was made more awkward due to Gennaro Gattuso naming Paletta in central defence.

To add insult to injury, Tuttosport claims the striker had no idea the Argentine veteran was on the pitch until he was told after the game.

The 18-year-old joined the Nerazzurri from Lyngby over the summer.

He didn't think a world-record balding primavera player was suspicious?

To be fair to Odgaard Paletta used to have a much more distinctive hairstyle.

Now he's just any other bald guy.

Wasn't even aware this little dude plays for us. It's curious to me because in every fm database he's a constant wonderkid. If I remember right, I think I might have even some obscure developer changelog about his name specifically, smth like "updated Odgaard from xxx PA to xxx PA"
Looks like now it will be 'updated Odgaard hrstl.psd to bld.tiff"

You sure you don't mean Odegaard who is a Madrid player now?

I've heard some about this lad. I can see him on the Inter first team in a year or two, but I think the temptation of selling him before he hits his stride will be too powerful for Inter's upper echelon to pass up.

He should be loaned out. It would probably be better for him to play in an easier league than Serie A, just to allow him to fine tune himself and allow room for error and growth.

the best for him imho would be either a low table team in serie A or a team in serie B. the latter probably better as serie A teams tend not to trust youngsters.

I would be happy to see Inter integrating players from his academy, but with our impatient board and fans it's unlikely to happen soon. I am rest assured Odgaard, Emmers, Vanheusden and Zaniolo are far more talented than Milan's current young players playing in their 1st team, especially Odgaard.

A great transfer for him as he needs first team action to improve. Sassuolo is a great place to be for talents.

The details of this transfer:

The Denmark Under-19 joins Sassuolo as part of the deal that takes Matteo Politano to Inter and is reportedly valued at €5m.

It is also claimed the Nerazzurri can bring him back for €5m next summer or €10m the following year. This information is false, as the numbers are: €8m option to buy in 2019 and €13m option to buy in 2020.

The 19-year-old scored 15 goals for Inter’s Primavera side last season as they won a League, Cup and Supercoppa treble.

Great deal for everyone, Sassuolo will be motivated to develop him and we can always buy him back for a cheap price of he proves himself in the following 2 years.

Official: Odgaard loan to Heerenveen

Sassuolo have officially loaned 20-year-old striker Jens Odgaard to Dutch side SC Heerenveen.

The Denmark Under-20 international centre-forward joined Sassuolo for €5m as part of an exchange deal with Inter last summer.

He made only five appearances for the Neroverdi, including one 15-minute Serie A cameo for the senior squad, scoring two goals in four Primavera games.

Inter still have a buy-back option to get Odgaard for €10m this summer [2019] and €15m next year [2020].
