We had this thread before, but sadly due to the problems in our forum I am again opening a new one.

He will join Inter next season and it's official that he's been loaned to Chievo.

As Jimmy had already stated, why in the hell did he join Chievo, when there's already Marchig... there ? He should have instead opted Reggina or Siena. Lets wait and see if he's able to get the starting nod, otherwise it's a worse move for him.

Well, then lets see how's our new goalkeeper for next season really is ??

;)

Hmmm... Come to think of it, it could be a bait for another team to get one of their players. It could be a bait for Arsenal to give us Lehman or to ManU to give us Howard. Wooo, maybe there is more to our transfer gurus than what meets the eye.

I think Hamed could be right, we're going to use J Cesar to get someone else, or we're going to keep him as "emergency plan" in case we don't manage to sign Frey in the summer.

It still dosen't make sence anyway, couse we could easaly have used Carini as our emergency plan.

WAIT A MINUTE guys you haven't even given the guy a chance yet and your already writing him off as a needless player, a stupid transfer, etc, etc. Wait and see if he plays for Chievo and wait and see how he actually does before writing him off.

Good grief, he hasn't even joined US and you already claim that buying him wasn't necessary.

Toldo isn't in managment plan anymore(I agree,we have long term project,he is old and not great anymore and he earns probably 1/4 our budget ;)he will be sold,Fontana will probably retire.

So it will be only Carini and Cordaz with is just some primavera kid that was never playing in really football. But would you want Carini to be our nr. one ?In team that fights for Scudetto and CL,player that now is only nr 3 ?Player that in last 5 years was playing maybe one full good season ?(the rest he was on bench or was playing bad)BTW I 've heard that when he came to us he was at horrible psychical condition, just completly horrible.I don't know what kind of tranings they have at Standard but looks that he didn't improved there.I doubt he is the answer for us.

J.Cesar came for free.If he prove his worth he could be our nr one for years. It can be nice move.

get over Frey. dont u believe Carini is good enogu for the first team role? why would the club even need to go get a keeper, we have enough already. all great keepers.

BDragon, ive seen that guy play many times in copa america and I have portugese TV and th ey play many brazilian games, this guy does blunders and all in all his just a normal keeper to me.

now your saying give him a chance. if we signed someone like Chimenti, do we have to give him a chance before we criticise the move?

Ive seen enoguh of J.Cesar, he didnt impress and isnt fit being a FIRST TEAM keeper for inter.

The only way thismove is good, is if we use to get Taddei or whoever.

But if his going to be our first team keeper, in front of carini toldo and the leaving fontana, or his a emergency plan cause we wana get that ---- Frey. then i dont like this move.

you are right, Those games I have seen with him he was nothing special, And there is not that huge a difference between him and Carini if any. So this move would only be good if we used him to get another player.

As someone have said we owne more then enough Goalkeepers 6 at this moment, 3 of them are loaned out. And as we all expect Fontana are retiering after this summer, With a posible sale of Toldo there still would be 4 young keepers left, But the problems is that none of thise have the potential to be our first Keeper. So in the end it will force us out on the transfer market again.

I don't know if I want Carini to be our number one, I surely don't want him to be our number 12!

Either he's number one, or he goes! He's too young for sit on the bench all season.

Yeah, but that dosen't change that we have to have 3 goalies in our squad so someone have to be nr 2 and 3.

Yeah well I know that, we should have an over-30 keeper for the bench, and the primavera keeper as 3rd.

Toldo is old? He´s 33 years old. Goalkeepers get´s better when they´re a bit older. Dino Zoff for an example was one of the best goalkeepers the world has ever seen. Zoff for instance is the oldest player to win the World Cup. In 1982 at the age of 40 he could collect the trophy as a captain of Italy's team.

I´m not saying Toldo is or will ever be as good as Zoff were, but Toldo surely has potential. Don´t count him out yet.

Buying this Cesar dude could be good or not (hard to say since i hardly seen him), but why on earth did we get much praised Carini then? He has played few matches and has looked rather good. Give im more chances and he could be "the next Buffon". If we didn´t plan to use Carini much, then why did we exchanged one of the best Italian defenders ever (no doubt Hamed, aiigght? :D) for a bench warmer?

Let´s just wait and see how´s Toldo gonna play the rest of this season and then we´ll be much wiser...

Yeah, I am puzzled by this mysterious 'Toldo is getting worse' phenomenon. He hasn't been in fine form, but as of late he has improved. Let's see how he peforms in the rest of the season and then judge.

If I hear Frey's name mentioned one more time, I will... :fero:

:dielaugh: :dielaugh: :dielaugh: That's a good one. Moratti and Facchetti were telling Mancin: We swear that we will sign Cesar, just relax. At least they are lying for good reasons this time around.
