From all the teams in Seria A, our beloved coach chose to experiment with his formation against Juventus. First time ever we play 4-4-1-1 against the best side in Italy, after the first half in which we were the better team.

That formation switch, did not confuse Juve, it fucked our players brains.

I feel bad for criticising the dude but it's what I've been saying since before we even signed him: Politano is good. He'll do a job. But the poor quality of his end product is what has, and always will, separate him from being great.

Miranda was too careless with the ball, Asamoah's brief lack of concentration cost us a goal that decided the game, Gagliardini failing to move the ball forward killed some of our potential and our lack of flair was too evident.

This was by far the best performance of a team against Juventus in 2018-19. We obviously lack some talent in the middle and need to be more confident with the ball - which is something Spalletti insists on with the whole playing from the back at all costs thing - and we're up there.

With Radja instead of Mario this would have been a much different game.
