Agreed. Love what I see from Karamoh, but at this moment it wluld be better if he is developed so much that he can start here as soon as that happens. One season might not be enough.

Just because Karamoh won't be first team ready for our purposes, doesn't mean that we can excuse spending 35-40m on Keita (we've already paid 5 or 6 iirc and the option is at 34 i think)

Unless Keita contributes, directly or indirectly, to at least 15 goals this season, there's absolutely no way we should exercise the option.

I understand what you mean but remember it often takes time to get settled in a new club. Icardi was not very impressing either in his first half season here as he didnt impress much when he was subbed in. My point is to let us wait before we put a label on him. A lot of things will change as we have just entered November.

Big difference is Icardi came here with a cheap price tag and befoldil was who he was competing with. At this point,there is no justification to reedem him at 30-35m when Politano has been performing alot better and he has lower price tag (although he has been given significantly more minutes). RW isnt what we are struggling with,id rather have the money spent on a cm.

To be fair, Keita is not a starter anyway so I dont think Karamoh in such a spot would be much of a disadvantage as long as Spal trusts him.

Saying that I also acknowledge that he perhaps should spend another season on loan somewhere. I think it is too early to decide.

Not just last summer, but he was even more advocated the summer before it. I was so thankful that Monaco saved us by taking him away from Lazio before we do. I thought that was the end of it and we’ll never hear of him linked to Inter ever again. That was some naive thinking by me. He just had to physically come to Inter before the directors realize that he’s not made for Inter.

How can you people expect Keita to play well when he keeps coming off the bench all the time? He is lacking rhythm which is not going to help by sitting on the bench. Give him a run in the starting XI and he'll start to show his class. Let's not forget he was a monster at Lazio and did well at Monaco.
