the problem with Griezmann's valuation is that we'd have to pay his wage costs as well. As an undesired player, increased wage cost decreases his transfer fee... no different to when we sold sneijder, etc.

Inter is not big club like Barcelona and can't keep best players if City,Real and Barca come for them.

Please, tell me about the last time that City, Real, or Barca took a player that Inter did not wish to sell.

When Inter had except Kova and Ibra players that Real,Barca or City wanted?

Maybe Candreva.

Inter can't keep best players if they are wanted by already mentioned clubs because they didnt win important trophy or play some role in CL for 11 years

Don't kid yourself, we forced Kovacic to leave so Mancini could sign his wet dream Yaya Toure knockoff.

Mancini had a bad relationship with Kovacic. Kovacic himself had admitted it.

Btw City wanted Skriniar in 2018. He's still at Inter.

That are just rumours. They didn't want him. They didn't sign any CB in 2018/19 so that Skriniar move to City was just bullshit.

City wanted him in January 2018. Their offer got rejected and they decided to sign Laporte instead. This is what Skriniar agent had said to AS:

“Inter Milan paid Sampdoria €28m (£24m) for Skriniar and six months later, Manchester City came in with an offer of €55m (£46m),”

It is interesting that the media, with the exception of links to Messi, has basically proposed a deal that includes most members of the Barcelona team + money in exchange for Martinez.

Perhaps the silliest part is Captain Zanetti coming out and saying that Inter are happy with Martinez and that the player is happy at Inter. Some times, I feel Zanetti lives in a bubble of denial or that he is really good at stating the obvious. Or maybe part of his job is to be positive without reservations.

It may well be the case that both Inter and Martinez are happy with each other but that does not provide any guarantee that he will be here next season or in the seasons to come. It is merely a snapshot in time and states the present status of the player but by no means has any bearing on his future.

There's no question, I believe, that Lautaro is a high priority for Barca. Whether the player feels similarly is merely speculation. With a fixed €111M buyout clause available in July I am confident the Barcelona board would prefer to make a deal involving players+cash - so in the end it may simply be a question of whether Inter would prefer to accept it over the entirety of the clause up front & logically for that to happen, Barcelona would have to sweeten the deal to exceed the cash value of the clause. As I have posted before, a long ways until then

cash+players makes sense for both sides, too. We could book 120-130m for Lautaro, which is huge plusvalenza and balances all of our loss in sponsorship recently.

Barca need cash and booking minimum +40m for Alena and Todibo would go a long way for them too I suspect.

Lautaro is a high priority for Barcelona.
Inter is reluctant to lose the player but at the same time it's not our highest priority to keep him.
Lautaro would be pleased to stay and would also be pleased to move to Barcelona. Whether it's more or less at any situation is not that big of a factor I guess. It's not like it's Inter or Gladbach/Wolves/Roma/Marseille/Valencia.

Not that hard to figure out what's happening.

How the hell can anyone claim to know what is going on in Lautaro's mind? If anything, the least probable mindset is that it's all the same to him whether he goes or stays. People always have a leaning stance.

I mean that if we make an offer to Lautaro it could be acceptable to him as he's not in *leave now* mode. He just has a very good suitor after him.
If we don't do anything, then he'd be pissed with us and would want to leave whether it's Barcelona or Dortmund.

They can pay clause of 111 millions and you can forget about inter asking 130.

I think Lautaro will stay because corona virus destroyed sponsors and tv rights so clubs will not have so much money in summer.

Also they number one priority is Neymar.

Also if they don't buy Neymar they are coming for Lautaro paying clause , and then it is realistic that he will want to leave.

Barcelona is bigger club then Inter and that is truth. If you don't think so you are fool.
They were playing with second team and win in second game this season in CL.

Barcelona can't afford to pay the 110 million in one single payment. Which is why we are getting rumours of cash plus players and other rumours of just straight cash 130-140 million which would be paid in installments.

Barca allegedly dont have the cashflow to pay the 111m in a lump sum. If that is true, from an FFP perspective booking some plusvalenza will really help

If I remember correctly, Mancini played him behind the forwards as a last ditch attempt to see if he could make it work, but never demonstrated an understanding of the position. One of the most short-sighted assessments I've seen at inter, especially since Mancini wasn't expected to be here long enough to see it through.

Kovacic was utilised as an AM, multiple times, and he didn't impress, quite the contrary.

His only game where he resembled our twisted fantasy of him in the AM slot was that one game against Lazio where he gave like 2-3 assists. He was never able to replicate that gamae tho.
