Some wonderfully taken goals over the last couple fixtures. He’s feeling it. Keep Dzeko the fuck away from him and let him do his thing and we might be adding a second star to the shirt soon enough.

Like I said pages ago. It has nothing to do with Lautaro and everything to do with his strike partner.

The way he has played recently is evidence of that and if you are still not convinced then look at the last couple of seasons when he played alongside Lukaku.

Selling him in the summer would be a huge mistake.

As others have noted, he played the way we have all been waiting for because that might be one of his top 5 games in an Inter shirt to date. Not just his extremely well-taken goals but the general way he played, his all-round game was fantastic.

Honestly if he played like this consistently it would go an enormous way towards solving our striker issues. Let's take it one game at a time though as he has had some issues with consistency but a performance like today gives me renewed hope. Here's to hoping this was a coming-of-age performance from Lautaro. Long story short, this is the kind of performance that makes me believe he could become the striker we all hoped he would.
Yeah. It’s quite sad his form didn’t hit sooner, and I really hope he keeps this fire till the end of the season. We need these goals man.

If Lautaro could consistently pull off games like these, goals like these, he wouldn't be playing at Inter and would've made an insane money move way earlier. Hopefully, he can still improve and gain consistency he is still young for the type of striker he is. Sometimes he has very dry spells but damn an in-form Lautaro can single-handedly win you games in Serie A.
I've always said his movement to make himself available is most of the time Elite Level, it's the finishing that sometimes lets him down. Yesterday, both of the goals was the fruit of great passes and good finishing but most of it was due to the way he was able to get away from Tomori/Kalulu.

I would NOT sell, especially if he goes on and plays well in the remaining games. Yesterday was a joy to watch.

I don't buy this tbh. It's actually pathetic to blame everything on his partner in attack. And he played the same under lukaku as he is playing this season, similar numbers at least. This is not about him being a crap striker, he was never that, he was always solid, but people rightfully so expected more from him than just being solid, they expected a breakthrough season, and we still aren't getting that.

Who do we sell next year if we have to make another sacrifice similar to hakimi and lukaku? He tops my list easily, coz there is no way I would be for selling someone like skriniar, brozo, barella or bastoni. Now of course best case scenario would be if he can stay, and we bring someone like lukaku who has in him 30 goals per season, but as it stands right now I don't think lautaro as our main striker will cut it next season when juve and milan strengthen even more. It's barely enough right now, in this pathetic excuse of a season, at least in terms of overall quality of other teams.

I know I'm being a party pooper right now given that his hype train is on the run again, but i m really just tired of circling arguments around him and people putting him on a pedestal of "he can be our main striker", when we all know his patchy nature of being impactful.

Yeah management and coach needs to make sure to play in a way which brings up Toro's strengths and hides the weaknesses. Separating Dzeko and Lautaro is one thing.

I think the difference is that Martinez is a great 2nd striker to have, but he can't lead the line like Lukaku did. We need to find a quality center forward who can be the focal point for our attack, and Martinez can compliment him & feed off him. We need someone who can pull defenders and create space for Martinez. Dzeko is just too old to do that anymore.

Yeah, but here's our probable predicament for the next season. You ain't getting that lead striker without selling lautaro.

Lautaro can not be our main striker. This season has proven that. He is a solid striker but he can not be our lead striker. There is a difference.

Some posters on here have said that in Lukaku's absence, they expected him to have a break out season. That was always wishful thinking. Firstly, they are not the same kind of player nor is Lautaro deployed in a Lukaku type role. If posters on here were expecting 30+ goals or for him to lead our line then they were sadly mistaken and Lautaro will inevitably disappoint you.

There is only one guarantee regarding Lautaro at the the moment and that is: if our Chinese Cunt owners sell him, they will pocket most of the money and find a cheap replacement that can not play at Lautaro's present standard. His sale, will inevitably weaken the squad and that is why we should be against it.

I do not see hype when I think of Lautaro. I see a well grounded, humble, solid striker that plays for the team and his teammates. He works hard and he is proud of his club and he takes any report to the contrary as a slight to both himself as a player and to his club. And in my eyes, those characteristics are invaluable and that is the exact kind of player Inter needs.

great game yesterday but let me get my hate on a little bit because as usual FIF is getting carried away with one good game...

Nothing has changed. Absolutely nothing. Lautoro is still the same player, an off the ball striker with predatory instincts. But he can't dribble or create anything for himself. He will never be the guy to shoulder the expectation that comes with the iconic number #10. And that's ok. But it means we will need to invest heavily on a strike partner who is ready and equipped to be that guy.

should anybody bring maximum offer like 70-80 mil or higher, take it and run....... considering our fiscal stature (and incompetent owner) and kind of player he is (inconsistent, limited)

Thank goodness he destroyed Milan with his two goals scored........so fantastic night:)............................... making it easier to sell him:D

The real problem is you need one more active forward to support him.

Argentina NT = Messi , everyone cover Messi.
Inter 2020/2021 = Lukaku, everyone cover Lukaku.

The real Lautaro is when Lautaro play with Messi / Lukaku not Dzeko.

His real problem is he can only score against bottom of the barrel teams like Salernitana and Milan.
Everyone was convinced Milan were gonna win the title and we were fighting for 4th place.

Now Milan are scrubs.

I am not for sale Lautaro not at all ... he suffered while playing with Edin, there is no chemistry between them, they just can not play together, especially when chasing a negative or a goal plus
