Forum Supporter10 years of FIFYou’d get downvoted on reddit to the deepest layers of the abyss for that comment. Lautaro’s image is forever tarnished because he didn’t score every single chance at the last World Cup while injured.
Argentines can sometimes be very ungrateful bunch and completely unfair.

10 years of FIFI remember the time while the same people would throw even Messi under the bus, while he didn't live to expectations or lost penalties/chances during some important moments for Argentina. I have no respect for such people. While these days, riding on Messi's dick is a trend, and even their players tend to jump into it.

10 years of FIFThe missed chance after the goal might give you the clue. It was appalling he squandered the shot under 2 v 1 condition and Bravo was in scrambling position.

10 years of FIFIt's indeed peak Inter fans when they concentrate on Lautaro missing a chance instead of focusing the fact he actually scored the winning goal.
Lautaro has now 7 goals in 12 Copa America matches. 26 total in Argentina NT. There's a chance he will be 2nd in all-time scorer list for Argentina after his career is done. Batistusta is at 54 so needs to keep the pace but it's doable. 3rd should be very doable (Aguero at 41).
edit. Gotta comment that Batistuta's numbers are pretty insane given he has for example 10 World Cup goals and 13 Copa America goals. He has only 18 friendly goals, vs Lautaro 11 and Aguero 19. But in the end, no one cares about these details, the all-time number is what matters and what is referenced / mentioned. Forza Lautaro!
