The best thing about this thread is knowing how Messi will feel living somewhere else than Barcelona.
KNOWING. Not speculating. KNOWING.
It's not about "knowing", it's about using the data available and coming to a conclusion when it comes to high profile players from Argentina moving that area. High profile because = they have the option of moving elsewhere if they push for it. Guys like Zabaleta, Otamendi (also miserable) and others have been lucky enough that their careers brought them to that level.
- Tevez: Hated the place.
- Di Maria: Still doesn't wanna hear about it.
- Aguero: Got divorced within months after moving there
- Veron: Despised the place; granted it was slightly different back then, but he couldn't get settled.
Messi is very close to both Aguero and Di Maria. Both have had negative experiences living there, Aguero is essentially trying to get assimiliated because he's become a club legend and his life was thrown away anyway, Di Maria jumped ship as soon as he could.
There's no evidence to suggest that Messi will get settled there, with his family. All prior evidence leads to the fact that high profile Argentineans suffer in their personal lives because of that career choice.
And for people claiming that he can just use a private jet while living elsewhere, lol. Just lol. You can do that once a week or something, it's not feasible to travel by private jet day in, day out. This isn't some fantasy world as much as it would appear such.
Pep or not, it's a terrible lifestyle choice for Messi. And he has many people in his environment to inform him of that if he's so unaware.
