I don't care how lucky we were and that we are still out. We played a good game, we have still problem with scoring in CL but at the end we did one goal, a great one. Lautaro let scream thousand of fans in the away sector, personally i had ghoosebumps. Then some minute after Sanchez (who had a great game) ended our "dream".
At the end im still happy. Considering our recent games, considering how we played, considering that we deserved more at the San Siro. Against Real we also deserved more and the end we still lost 1-0, remember that. Thats football. No one would complain if Inter would have scored the second one.

Some bbilan fans i know said that Inter was lucky and there was nothing to be happy... well, funny they said that. Against Inter they played 10 minutes, that was not lucky of course

Great game tonight guys - I thought Inter were really unlucky, missing Barela for both legs and getting a man sent off.

Hopefully Steven has seen tonight that we are in much need of proper squad depth. When Liverpool looks back over these 2 legs, they will be super happy with the way they managed to get through. Ofc someone will say they hit the post 3 times, but we also hit one in the first leg. Reality is that we bossed them and we deserved to go through. Even that red card was funny because Alexis got it because he was faster then Fabinho. Strange feeling.

Yous were great. Could only hear one set of fans all night. Absolutely dominated the atmosphere in there.

They had no reason to take the initiative, they were leading 2-0 on agg. Why waste energy on controlling the game? No team would, Inter were never dangerous anyways.

Meanwhile only playing at 50% tempo Liverpool still were unlucky hitting the post 3 times. It was an exhibition match for them.

Sanchez + Lautaro is only good when we play against strong team, we have seen this before when we played against Barca.
I hope Simone won't think this is the solution to our title race, even it does LM better.
I pathetically rather play Dzeko + Lautaro than that, but I am hopeful cause Correa is back.

Anyway I don't understand what people want more from Simone, keep in mind what squad he is working with.

Quiet confidence but not cockiness. We all knew Inter are a quality team and have the history, but having gone through a period of development (because we can't buy instant success), we recognise that we are a couple seasons ahead in terms of that cycle of development.

Honestly, when you got the goal I was getting worried as you were coming on strong. The sending off came as a relief.
