The good thing is Lucio dont have that many good seasons left if even one. He started to be a rotation player for us and for that he had too big contract. I though he wasnt playing that bad last year but clearly mistakes seem to keep coming. We can only hope that Lucio´s last season was the top of the iceberg and Jube bought them selves troubles.

The thing that I dont get is why Juve wanted another cb when they already got Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini and now Lucio. Will Chiellini play as wingback? What I know is that Juve are building a large squad.

Lucio will be nothing more than cover for them. They also have Caceres, who can play at CB in emergencies. But there's no way he'll bench any one of Barzagli, Chiellini, or Bonucci based on current form.

How he could he not be? They only played three at the back for much of the season. Maybe he'll get some playing time if there are injuries, but why would they drop any one of their current defenders for a 34 year-old who's just come off a poor season?

Sportitalia is now reporting that Lucio will reject Malaga's offer of 2.6m to sign for Juve, who are offering him 2m per season. Apparently the deal was already in place, hence why he consented to the contract termination.

IMO La Grande Inter section should be reserved to legends which I dont think Lucio, Pandev, Motta etc. are.

Treble is a truly great achiement no doubt about it. But to be in La Grande Inter it needs something more than one great season.

For example Zlatan won us many scudettos but people dont think he should be in there either.

i understand what you are saying and i completely agree about pandev and motta was arguable for me. but lucio was a main catalyst that season his defending in some games was out of this world. the wait we had between champions league wins was ridiculous so based upon that one season i chose (in my opinion) he should be in la grande its an achievement that we will look back on many years from now and see really how big it was. either way im losing the poll most people believe otherwise

Let's be fair, he did save us on a couple of occasions in that fantastic turnover against Barcelona which we won 3-1...

Why did we terminate his contract before the window had even opened? Were we really so convinced that nobody wanted to pay even half a mil for a world class defender, who only has age against him? I'd understand if today was the 1st of August, but June 29th?..

If he joins RuBentus I hope we have some passionate Interistas in Milano who'd like to redecorate his house. On the same fucking day as we do him a huge favour and rescind the contract he wanted to extend 6 months back, he's being heavily linked to the worst, most disgusting, most corrupt club in the world - not to mention our biggest rivals.
