Really, people feel his career is going down? He has won everything there is to win. Juve might be the first club in a long and illustrious career where he didn't succeed, and you can't really blame him considering they are having their best period in 6 years and he is at end of his career.

I'm pretty sure he will do very well at Sao Paulo since his fitness is still good and few mistakes won't hurt as bad there.

May not be LGI for what happened this summer, but as a footballer he has been tremendous for a decade now.

people here just like to hate on him because of what he said after he left, dont blame them...he can go screw himself tbh especially after watching that scum still getting incredible 'luck' with decisions

He's fallen from grace with São Paulo and now they want to ship him off to Europe or Middle East :chan:

He was such a boss in that Treble season. One of our best players, but since he left for Juve I seriously can't stand him.

lol I couldn't stand him after Mou left, it's good that we gave him to Juve, shame they found out he can't play anymore

honestly, I think Lucio excelled with the tactical direction and lectures Mourinho gave him. They kept him in check a bit more. Even Ia m surprised by how quickly he has fallen though

I think Lucio was still a bit of a 'nutjob' during that season, in a good way though. Samuel & Cambiasso were the more stable rocks while Lucio was more of the 'maverick.' They complimented well though.

I agree. Exploiting, rather than punishing, Lucio's characteristics did help quite alot - but having the lectures and so on from Mourinho clearly helped him to selectively use it when benefical, rather than just leaving gaps in defense

Never forget his performance against Drogba. He will always be a legend for that.

There used to be a video of Samuel and Lucio vs. Chelsea. Think it got taken down but the look on Drogba's face was priceless. He looked like some 17 year old kid after years of bullying defenders.

He decided to fuck off to Juve and talked about ''30 Scudetti''

He didnt have to talk about 30 scudettos, did he?

Anyway, he doesnt deserve la grande. Not every treble winning player deserves it.

Lucio was a ball-playing CB who wasn't very good at it. Mourinho got him to focus on his strength, which made him so beastly during the treble season, but it quickly fell away after that.

Lucio was a beast the year after Mourinho left until the team started to fall apart around him. I remember numerous people commenting on how he was the only player keeping out defense together in the first half of that year.
