personally i think his coming as just a filler for Figo incase Stankovic is injured or needs to cover someone in midfield so probably wont see him too much but his very talented so i cant wait to see him play behind the strikers, we should get good creativity.

Jimenez was a fantastic player at Fiorentina, but he has a shitty attitude. That is what worries me. As a player though, he's very good. Can play three different positions. Attacking central midfielder, winger and second striker.

Have my doubts how he will react on being in the stands in some matches though.

If he's as good as you say he is, then we wont have to deal with him being on the stands.I havent seen much of him, but i do remember that crazy volley against us 2 years ago.

Management wise, the guys have been spot on.

WTF? The first few pages of this topic are absolute trash, mostly due to one poster who's probably never even seen him. Jimenez is a classy player who embodies quite a bit of skill from what I've seen with both Viola and Lazio.

I do worry about his attitude problems however.

Good point. And as I said before, Jimenez can play as a second striker (he can replace Ibrahimovic), a centre forward, a winger (in case Mancini used the 4-4-2) and what we mostly need: a creative attacking midfielder.

No need to sign a new player to replace Zlatan when he's injuried (or suspended :grumpy as long as we have Jimenez.

Inter are solving their injuries problem by getting few players who can cover various roles instead of getting one player for each role. This will give every player many chances to play and make everyone happy.

Exactly. This is the needed tactic on this summer's mercato. Our team is better back-uped this season and we will benefit from it. I think Solari is off though. There's no space for him. But if Chivu doesn't arrive, Solari will perhaps be LB back-up, although that's not ideal.

And azzkikr, you go around here like you know everything. But you still haven't named any player you'd like Inter to purchase instead of Jimenez or any other "crappy" transfer. Speak up.

can't wait to wathc him play, He has been a great player in every game he played. I'm not on the banwaggon because i have followed him since his fiorentina years and his U17 and u21's. You guys should not criticise him just yet cuz i dought he will dissapoint. I could be wrong but let's see how he does in preseason. Good luck luis.

he's of better quality then mariano, not to mention he has played better at lazio then mariano has at palermo. Dont be surprised if jimenez starts more serie a games then expected. He has the qualities to start at a great team.

Ps. I read something a while ago that said that barcelona or Real madrid tried getting him while he was 18. Can anyone find that link cuz it was in the gazetta like 3 years ago i think, or another reliable source
