Dzeko playing means better long ball retention. Is that better than the physicality and speed of Lukaku? I don't know. But there are differences what these two players bring to the table.

The issue with Dzeko has been in the second part of the season is if he has a bad day, he's really bad. I find it hard to believe he wouldn't be motivated or would be sulking in the CL final, but it isn't out of the question.

I think Lukaku can play 90 mins but we need to consider it might be 120 mins (and penalties on top). The fact is, as mentioned earlier is that if Lukaku+Lautaro starts, our bench is fucking shit when it comes to strikers. Dzeko starting vs Dzeko from the bench are two so much different things or at least that's how it feels.

Another fact is, City will come hard from the start and we need to absorb that. So Inzaghi needs to decide if Dzeko or Lukaku is better for this absorption task. Can we utilize Lukaku speed in counters from the start? Are these percentages biggest for us being trailing after the first half anyway and which one is better starter for that situation, Dzeko or Lukaku?

I definitely can't say this or that is the better choice but good that we have lots of people here who can. :D

I dunno, maybe Dzeko can pull another monster performance like he did against Milan in the Supercoppa. He used to be rather disappointing during that period, but managed to bounce back in that crucial match, so maybe the CL final itself will boost him, physically of course. I won't complain regarding whom starts alongside Lautaro but I feel like Dzeko has a slight advantage because of his technical attributes and also superior aerial ability.

Just woke up from a dream where Haaland scored a 35 yard first time volley, and they went on to batter us 4-0.

Dream me took it particularly well, can’t say it’d be the same in real life.
Bro I don’t know why but I’ve been getting visions of the 2012 Euro Cup final with Italy taking a beating from prime Spain, also consequently a 4-0 fixture..

So I'm not the only one who's been haunted by that 2012 Euro cup.

Cmon man, nobody expected us to be here. This is one of these rare Inter games that shouldnt fuck me up😎🤪 Maybe if we lose 10:0 or something like that, other than that its all ok👍
We should enjoy this and be proud to be part of it.

We need to approach this with the fuck it lets have a go swagger we had at the nou camp…

This ain’t the 2010 team that could hold and hold and hold. If we sit back their superior movement will catch us out IMO.

I’d rather have a go and lose 4-2 than a cowardly 4-0 that has the rest of the planet side-eyeing us as the worst team to reach the final.

That said, I do believe we’re gonna win. Genuinely.

Apparently Marciniak might be substituted as he was reportedly part of a far right event.

Yeah, can we fucking cool it with the conspiracy theories. We got gift wrapped the easiest draw we're ever going to get. City ended up on the side of the bracket with Real and Bayern. If UEFA wanted them to win so badly, there were easier ways.

Let's not whine about refereeing decisions that haven't even happened yet

Only difference is City don't have Pique level worthless player at the back to gift us a couple of goals.

Great teams this year like Real, Bayern and Arsenal tried to have a go at City and got slaughtered. Our only chance is to play smarter than those teams, frustrate City creating a wall in the final third and exploit the counter attacks.
