guess who is getting a contract extension...after almost leaving for Sevilla...with a bought plane ticket...in the winter...it was Spallo who halted the transfer tho.

Brozovic signed a contract extension just a season ago. He earns 2.2m/year which is more than fair for someone with his inconsistency. He has a contract till 2021 and a 50m release clause. There's absolutely no reason to offer him another extension. The management need to stop offering contract extensions to players every single season just because they do their job and play well. Lets see if he can consistently performs at this level and then there could be a talk about a possible extension at the end of next season. But it makes no sense to offer it now.

Isn't it pretty obvious that as deeper midfielder you get better numbers in most of those themes?

No. Brozo was doing epic bad. But even Spalletti didn't notice earlier Brozo could be used this way. Well no other earlier coach noticed that either.

These things just happen, sometimes by accident. Our midfield setup looks much more secure now and I think our plans for the summer can change a bit if Brozo keeps this form and I see no reason him not playing like this, it's 5 games left.
