But still is on a level higher than many on the pitch which for me is not being gone. But yeah, we can expect more from someone that's epic.

Rakitic was one of the worst players in Croatian line-up in the last WC. Modric on another note was extraordinary, a complete package in both offence and defence department. He was almost everywhere in the pitch contributing the team and making difference, but however Rakitic was piss poor.

In most of games he was kind of clumsy and lost way too many balls of a player of his calibre.

Brozo was a boss in WC. Him and Modric were a fantastic combo in the midfield. Both were consistent and made difference, however can't say the same for Raktic though.

This reminds me of my fetish of having Locatelli (similar to Brozović) and Tonali (similar to Modrić) playing together at Inter, add Zaniolo to that and we would be unstoppable next season in Serie A and in 2-3 seasons we'll be unstoppable in CL too.

I would be OK with getting those 3 and no one else this Mercato.

Been hearing good things about Locatelli. Potential world class player. Milan let him go for practically nothing.

He's looking good at Sassuolo but I still don't think he's got world-class potential. Also iirc he wanted to leave Milan for more playing time.

if I'm being honest, locatelli has more potential than barella and tonali from a technical standpoint. Whether he has it mentally or physically (injuries) is left to be seen.

I don't get this young player fetish sometimes. If we have Locatelli, Tonali and Zaniolo as our starting midfield next season, we won't be unstoppable. My guess its that we would probably struggle to make top 4 if we start 3 kids in the midfield. While all 3 have shown great potential, their end products are not fully developed yet and you cannot expect them to play consistently on their own and expect results at this level.

Experience is important, there needs to be a balance. You want some of these kids to play alongside top class experienced players and learn. Skriniar did great for us in his first season, but I am sure a lot of that has to do with having someone like Miranda beside him. Ditto with Bastoni this season, I am sure he has learnt a lot from De Vrij, Godin and Skriniar in games and training.

Bayern München and Inter Milan considering a swap deal between each other; the French international Corentin Tolisso (+ possible €20 million) for the Croatian international Marcelo Brozović

I like Tolisso plenty but giving up an undisputed starter to get someone who can't ever stay healthy doesn't sound like a good idea whatsoever. You have to see Tolisso as more of a wild card right now than anything else, and if Bayern isn't ok with that then that's what it is. But Brozo is too much.

We need 2 new midfielders without even losing Brozo, because...

Barella is slightly injury prone and a walking yellow card
Sensi is uber injury prone
Gags... Dear lord, how is he a starter now hahahahaha
Borja is 65 y old anyway
Eriksen is a 3 minute player, sub according to our genius coach.. Whatever
Vecino is on Conte's black list

Spend spend spend!!!

For the nth time, fuck Alaba. He is not a player we need.

Alaba is not suitable for LWB. And we have Bastoni and possibly Kumbulla for LCB. No thanks.

Brozovic is so under rated here, its not funny. This guy pretty much controls our midfield, works his ass off, and was our best player in the first half of the season when he finally showed consistent good performances. Yet people only remember some poor recent performances after lockdown and injury. Its ridiculous. Against Atalanta he showed again the kind of player he is, back in form.

I know at this Inter no one is unsellable. But Brozovic comes pretty close to that in my book. If there are two players in our midfield I wouldn't sell, it would be Brozovic and Barella.

Wouldn't swap Brozovic for Tolisso on a straight swap, let alone add millions on top. Ridiculous proposition.

edit. Apparently I missed the negation. WOULD NOT SWAP

Tolissos injury record is scary , torn ACL plus bunch of other issues regularly. We don't need to sell our best players , but if we do it, they better be replaced by players with excellent quality topped with superman form. Not Tolisso or Ndombele. One is fragile as a macaroni the other can't run for 5minutes. Both valued over the top ridiculous.

Actually the rumor is apparent Tolisso + 20m€. Dunno, I don't think I'd still do it. Like said, Tolisso is pretty injury prone. And a very good point is if we sell Brozo we need to replace him with a better player and I don't see Tolisso being one.
