That was not my suggestion at all. And Frattesi is not only player in the world capable of "replacing Brozovic".

When factoring the sale of Brozovic and putting up the argument that we extended him just a year ago one major point is always being forgotten: we got Calhanoglu to fight it out with Mkhitariyan and Asllani to be Brozovic‘s understudy. We never would have thought that Hakan can be so influential on that position in the first place.

That’s why last summer it was not wise to think about selling him, but this summer it is for all the reasons .h. mentioned and simply for the reason that we have three players capable of playing this position on a good to fantastic level, whereas we have players leaving in double digits. Shady business indeed. I can only assume that they are having under-the-table agreements. Not sure who wins out of this and it does not seem to make sense for that 10% towards the croatian club.

So we have a fucking elite midfielder with a contract expiring in 2026 and we fucking sell him for 18 fucking mil after some fucking saudis simply humiliate our management in negociations.
