I agree that Thuram does a lot for our attack, especially the flexibility. Never gonna dispute that. The difference with Firmino is that he has proven that he can win games (and titles) while being a low scorer himself. He sacrificed himself for the team. Just at Hoffenheim, he was a standout player.
I just don't want to get into too much hype about Thuram for now. As a player we got for 'free', he is really good. If he and Lautaro have good games against Juve and Napoli, I'll probably warm up to him more.
What is a good indicator is that this actually looks like Thuram's best season so far.
