Martinez got almost equal poor ratings , he was almost as bad, Thuram actually had a decent amount of crucial headers in defence, so while he like Martinez was bad offensively he did some things right as well… Neither are playing anywhere near the level we got used to, but they also get little to work with from Hakan and Miki

The world doesnt work that way. I wonder what kinda jobs people saying that has. Just because other people are being shit at their jobs, it doesnt mean its ok for you to also be shit at it. Its largely irrelevant unless other underperformers are directly sabotaging your work and i dont see Lautaro sabotaging anything for Thuram, he has just been god awful, no need to defend this by trying to move focus to other players.

Its a fact that the only balls Thuram has properly gotten to since returning from injury has been Savics.

I have no problem selling him. I am not attached, but if we sell, either we get someone with similar physicality, or we keep Dumfries.
We need someone with explosive pace for counter and a bit hold up afterwards.

Neither zirkzee, gudmundsson or scamacca fits the bill.

In this case, I rather get Jonathan David or Folarin Balogun if they cost the same.
They are all downgrade nonetheless, but hopefully they will grow when they join and reach or surpass Thuram's level.
