I'm not even remotely a hater.

I'm just not a fair weather fan. I dont love Balotelli when he puts in 2 good games, and I dont hate him when he plays 2 bad games.

I hate him because he has a fucking terrible attitude, I've felt that way about him for 3 years now, and there's no signs from him that it should change anytime soon.

I've formed my opinion on him based on him as a human being as well as him as a footballer, and he is a truly terrible person.

Two goals in a blue shirt does NOT make everything better.

I'm amazed that people here have such short memories that they dont remember how he DISGRACED INTER on the WORLD STAGE.

These people that have forgiven him so quickly are either very recently Inter fans who don't remember when he THREW DOWN the Inter shirt and had a fight with Materazzi, when he put on the Milan shirt in our treble season, or they have such low self-esteem and dignity that they are like some abused spouse "Oh yes its okay that you treat me like shit, I still love you".

I for one have too good a memory, and too good a dignity, to put up with that kid's antics.

The only way I'd accept him back in Inter is him grovelling and begging every single person in the San Siro wearing an Inter shirt for forgiveness. Then, maybe, I would support him.

Remember, this is the same shirt that greats like Facchetti or Meazza wore. In my 11+ years of supporting Inter I have NEVER EVER seen a player disgrace the club as much as Balotelli did (except Vieri, but that was when he left). Meazza and Facchetti are probably turning in their graves, seeing INTER FANS wax lyrical about a CUNT like Balotelli.

I will (and tonight, did) applaud him, but I will NOT SUPPORT him, and any Inter fan who has been around since Mourinho, or who has any SLIVER of self-respect, will not either.

I have no interest in dealing with anyone who supports Balotelli, either, as they clearly don't subscribe to the same moral code that I do, and as such, have nothing to discuss with them.

Did Mario kill your dog, rape your mother and burn your home? Because that is what your making this sound like. "Moral code"? IT'S A FUCKING SPORT.
I'm not criticizing him as a sports person, I'm criticizing his actions as a PERSON. His actions were disrespectful to every single Inter fan across the world, and all the legends in the past who wore the Inter shirt and made it what it is.

Too bad, but he HAD to be sold. Would i want him back? Probably, considering he is one of the best talents and all... The last, the mistake wasn't that we sold him, but that we got fucking Biabiany as his replacement :palm: That was the PERFECT time to go after Kun, THE PERFECT.

Easy to forget how young he is. And how well do you know him as a person? You met him, had some drinks with him? If you're going to judge a person based off his emotional actions on the pitch as a 19-20 year old then I don't know what to say. Be bitter and hold that grudge your whole life.

On the pitch has very little to do with it. Off the pitch has a lot more to do with it.

No, of course I dont know him in person, but I dont have to know Zanetti to know that he is a truly CLASS HUMAN.

Or are you a believer that you cant form an opinion of something unless you've met every single person involved in the situation/learnt every single possible fact/repeated every experiment for yourself? In which case I hope we never discuss history, science, art, politics..

And yes, I agree, he's young. He's allowed to make mistakes. Who doesnt, at his age. What pisses me off is that his apology on our webpage (I'm guessing you're too recent an Inter fan to remember it) was PATHETIC. First he threw the shirt to the ground, then he got suspended. Whilst he was suspended he put on the Milan jersey AND hired Raiola as his agent.

Enough said. As Pajo said, its obvious to anyone who was an Inter fan at the time that he simply HAD to go.

You guys really think Kun was a realistic target for Inter?

Realistically speaking, the best replacement we could have bought was Kuyt, and you can hardly call that a replacement considering the gap in talent, characteristics, and playing style.

If Mancini was able to keep Tevez at Man City, we should have tried harder to keep Balotelli in the team.

But it's too late now, we won't even be able to afford him, and there are plenty of more attractive teams else where.

I think in terms of strikers we had enough realistic options. Even if Kun wasn't one of them, we ended up with Pazzini 5 months later, could have signed Cassano... I'm sure there are a few around too.

Balotelli could not only provide us with immediate impact in scoring and assisting, but also the future.

This is something that someone like Cassano cannot provide.

As for Pazzini, he's totally incomparable with Balotelli. Balotelli was able to provide assists and flair on both wings, while also scoring consistently at any of those roles and striker. Pazzini was never a true replacement for Balotelli, but a replacement for the downfall of Milito.

Wallace I'd like to point out that my criticisms of Balotelli have, again, very little to do with his actual playing abilities. I dont contest he is quite skilled and good, but his personality will not fit him in at any dressing room in the long term, his ability to pick fights with his own players, or piss off people is phenomenal.

I would rather get a less talented player who integrates better into the team than Balotelli. Good players, even like Balotelli, are a dime a dozen. The truly class players, like Zanetti, are once in a lifetime.

From what I've heard from people/players/coaches, off the pitch he isn't that bad of a person. A joker and a bit of an idiot, yes, but what proof do you have of him being a TRULY AWFUL person? I consider "truly awful" people, murderers and rapists and con artists of the like. I guess we have different standards.

Also, I'm not excusing him of what he did. It WAS disgraceful and I was one of the people that wanted him gone. Even after this I still think it was a good decision. I don't think it would of worked here if he had stayed.

Yeah, that year he was...

We sold Ballo, had the money, had just won the CL, and had reputation in the world of football... If we pressed enough, we could have gotten Kun from Atletico for around 30-35 tops, and with Atletico, we could have uswd some players as well. He left for 40 year later.

This is where we don't agree.

The talent of Balotelli doesn't come by everyday, and I completely disagree we could have ever properly replace Balotelli without investing a sky-high figure, which we were never able to do.

I definitely understand why some of you wanted him out though. If we have gotten 40-50mil figure for Balotelli, I'd have less of a problem with offloading him.

When was the last time we spent 20 on a player, let alone 30?
