They have that highly rated greek center back, Sokratis Papastathopoulos . We were linked with him a couple of times.

It will be very hard for Destro to get some playing minutes in Genoa.There are too many good players in the attack. Rodrigo Palacio,Luka Toni,Raffaele Palladino, Giuseppe Sculli,very talented youngster from Ghana Richmond Boakye and of course one and only "Robert Acquafresca"

they usually play with 3 upfront and acquafresca is leaving so he might even get some starts if there is an injury problem

Palacio, Sculli and Palladino play on the wings. Dunno about Boakye, but if Acquafresca is loaned to somewhere, Destro might get his few chances as substitute to Toni (LOL). Hmm, I have to agree that Genoa is perhaps not the best team for him. Some smaller club could have been better.

Hmm, when you think it over again, CC has a point there.. As far as i know, Destro can play ONLY as ST, and that position is for Toni at Genoa... If Acquafresca leaves, Destro might have chance of good playing time, as Tonis su, but if acquafresca stays, Destro would have no chance of proving himself...

Hope he will get decent playing time..

Even if Fresh water/ Acquafresca stays in genoa i think destro will get some decent playing time because hes way better than acquafresca imo. and genoa coach is not stupid either

hm? how is he better? I haven't seen personally Destro playing, I just know he's a great talent, but Acqua is a proven serie A forward by now

No he isn't. He had one good season with cagliari but hasn't done anything since then. Struggled at both genoa and atalanta.

Stevanovic is a playmaker/midfielder. They play totally different roles.

why? as far as i know, stevanovic is MC/AMC, and Destro is pure striker.. So, that doesnt make sence
