The Turkish champions will pay PSG a fee off €10 million to secure Icardi’s signature on a permanent basis. They have signed the striker on a three-year deal.
Some of that fee will go to Icardi’s previous clubs as solidarity payments.
Icardi had made 2019 appearances for the Nerazzurri between 2013 and 2019. However, his full six seasons are now eligible for FIFA solidarity payments – only those before he turned 23.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri will receive €150,000 from the transfer. The same amount will go to Sampdoria, who Inter bought Icardi from, for their two seasons with the Argentine in their ranks.
Moreover, Barcelona will receive €125,000, on the basis of Icardi having been in their youth ranks.
Finally, €75,000 will go to Argentine side Vecindario.
