You might be. Watch last seasons misses, they are horrifying. Watch every loose ball battle, and see Icardi slow down in approach as if he fears physical confrontation. Icardi has a lot of work to do before he can be compared with pippo or Toni, but he does have thepotential to be better than both.

So he didn't want to sit on the Real bench? He saw what happened with Hernandez even when he did score regularly and decided better off it. Smart move, but let's be honest here. He had three years(?) left and signing a new contract meant he doubled his wages basically.

Handa's situation is somewhat different, and maybe making him captain will increase the chances of him signing a new deal? We're not going to find it easy finding a better keeper than him
