I have the same as Handoyo...This truly is a shame. I'd say Im very dissapointed with all this. Specially IF he had been treated unjustly, he truly ruined it by not playing and fucking up the whole situation even more.

I for one am a very big fan of restoring discipline and only having players that 'die' for this club. But it truly is a shame that Icardi didnt have a single braincell that prevented him for ruining the relationship to such extent that its irrecoverable.

I think almost everyone here agrees on that. We are all mad to Icardi, but still sad it turned out like this.

I thought that he would redeem himself, and i had hopes at least until yesterday that we could keep him, and somehow he would begin to play again. But management doesn't agree and doesn't want him here. They are firm on his situation and there's that.

I guess he is really done here. Sad, really. He could've been a legend for Inter. But he butchered his career here.
Now, it would be even harder for me if he went to Juventus and pick up his form. But i feel he is not the same player anymore.

Couldn't agree more. Its really sad. I was hoping he ends up breaking Meazza's long standing record for highest scorer for Inter and retires here as a fucking legend and joins Zanetti as a director. At the risk of bringing Brehme's wrath upon all of us, Icardi royally fucked it up. If only he had swallowed the bitter pill and continued playing in Feb, most Inter fans would have taken his side against the management. He has destroyed his own legacy. Now for most Inter fans, he will only be remembered as an arsehole who tried to fuck our beloved club.

Hopefully he now gets the message with the arrival of Lukaku, and possibly Dzeko. Time to back his bags.

Of course everybody is nostalgic and everybody has those wishfull thinkings. Like... I wish Adriano's dad would not die and he would become the monster he was becoming, how Recoba would not be injured constantly and he would become one of the deadliests left footed 10's out there, and how icardi would never mary his stupid wife and be more professional with his career.

But it is what it is, and in the end the reality is what matters. He fucked up his career, he probably will never play for NT again and it's only on him. If it was only Inter then maybe, but it's NT as well. He's done at Inter and It will be refreshing feeling once he is officially gone. We will be able to finally move on and just focus on the new season as fresh.

I don't blame you, the sheer volume of bullshit in this thread is one of the reasons I stopped posting (not this thread in particular, the forum in general)

But allow me to explain since i'm sure plenty of people don't know what I'm talking about.

From what I understood, Brehme is basically saying that the management started this whole fiasco, and that we shouldn't be mad at Icardi for reacting to their actions (correct me if I'm wrong)

I say, that reacting by faking an injury during the most crucial part of the season (knockout games, important league games, and THE FUCKING DERBY) while the team you supposedly "lead" and "love" has only 1 available striker (at one point 0 strikers) and then going on social media and basically saying that it's not his fault but Marotta and Spalletti's fault that he has to fake an injury, is good enough reason for the fans to call him the cuntiest cunt who had ever cunted.
