At least Mourinho came into a team that were already winning the league, I'd bet it's easier to make the next step towards more trophies when you join a club like that.

Conte came and firstly changed the formation, there was also some drama about some of our players, and the club barely made CL the previous season.

Conte is not perfect, we all know that. Not one coach/manager is. But the decision to hate players Conte brought just because of that fact, it's ridiculous. Lukaku scoring more than some other Serie A proven strikers we bought in his first season is proof that we have something with great potential here. And it's not just Lukaku, it's Lautaro, it's Sensi, ... all of these cool players that make me happy I'm an Inter supporter. Finally, after a long time, Inter looks decent, even good at certain moments.

But no, bring back Mou  criticizing Conte that when he resigns he will leave this club in ruin, but forgetting how Mou knew when to leave Inter so he wouldn't have to deal with the reconstruction and the potential ruin of his Inter legacy.

Fucking x100.

You guys 100% correct.

Hiring Mourinho instead of Conte probably would have meant that we would end up 7th last season... All hail Conte, the only coach that knows how to win, yet has not won shit that really matters....

You totally underestimate the chances of D'Ambrosio or Kolarov (or both) having to start again in a game. It's a long season. Injuries and suspensions happen. On top of that we have a pandemic ongoing. What if one of our defenders, God forbid, gets the virus and has to stay out for two weeks like Ibra? Can you imagine going to a derby or a CL game with D'Ambrosio or Kolarov as starters? I believe our squad depth in defense is too thin and we need one more defender.
That's a fair point that we had a better bench last year with Dambrosio, Godin and Rano to this years which might be Kolarov, Dambrosio and Pirola. That is fair point. The question comes, whether it's better to have slightly better first eleven pick in consequence of having weaker subs.

I don't think we will see the same configuration even 5 times this season. We played yesterday with #4, #5 and Bastoni not in his usuall position. Only a catastrophe with injuries / suspensions would make us play that.

I would love to have higher quality bench, but we have to take 1 step at a time. We cannot make great full bench options in 2 or 3 years. It will still take 1 or 2 mercatos to get there (I believe).

I don't believe we can win Serie A this season, but again, with the current squad (especially if Skriniar and N9 stay) we are the closest to a potential trophy, so with a bit of luck and further progress anything can happen. I can see what Brehme wants to say, but it's because of the wrong reasons.

Honestly there's no excuses as to why we shouldn't win the league. We have the talent to where 90 points should be the target. We are not perfect but if we remain healthy we have no excuses to not get at least close to that. Juve have CR7 and Dybala but after that they aren't much if any better than we are so we could at least split with them 1 and 1. And as for the other 18 teams, we have more talent than all of them. Obviously we won't win every game, but we should win a lot of them. I'm done hoping for second knowing we can't beat Juve. Fuck that mentality. We have a team good enough to win the league this year so do it. I don't give a shit if Juve turn out to be better than they were last year.

suning is here from 2016 mercato, if 5 is still not enough to make a strong 20 players team, another 2 years wont change that

we are too poor for that

Not quite true. Their first merkato was a complete failure - JM, Barbosa, Candreva, and Ansaldi. A bunch of losers for nearly 100mln. The next four seasons they were able to fix the mess step by step and now we have a much better squad. Just compare the team from 2016/2017 to the present one.

I think that's close to right. Unless some catastrophe happen we shouldn't fire Conte because of that but this season would be a negative one because he stayed and jube got new coach and didn't reinforce enough.

You have to remember from which point did we start, and also factor in that first season of Suning where we did terrible market wise and which made us spend another mercatos to offset that (which makes that journey even longer).

You have to have smart mercatos. That first one, we still hurt by that so we need to overcome it and we still didn't finish. Also, we were in shambles since 2010 and with each passing year it wasn't better so we needed lots of years to build slowly and get to the top. We're about 1-2 mercatos left I reckon till then. Maybe 3 tops because of corona break.

A tip for you: Don't feed the troll.

Any sensible supporter would agree with what you said though.

Should be a hell of a week and half coming.

Juve didn't look convincing against Roma. We should be fierce and precise in the market and take the advantage.

I agree completely. Fierce in forcing out our defensive crown jewel in Skriniar and precise in signing Darmian to a 4 year deal.

Not even a whisper. Even about Vecino it's reported Inter and Napoli are very far apart while Giuntoli said yesterday Napoli squad is complete.

The best thing about this mercato is that it is just one more week.

We should sell him in January, if he doesn't accept a move to EPL. We surely could find a new home for him in EPL for 15m€, they have shit loads of money there despite COVID. I think at the moment the problem is Vecino who doesn't want to make such move. Leaving him outside of CL list and Serie A list could maybe change his mind? Maybe he wants to wait for January for new opportunities?

I believe he wants to join a team playing in European competition. Which is why it will be difficult to just ship him off to some mid table EPL club.

That's why leaving him out of the squad lists might change is mind. I mean he doesn't have to join a team playing in European competition, he already is at one. But if he wants to play also, that's a different case. I've understood Vecino still wants to play football so giving him these options might change his mind about joining team not playing in Europe or not playing at all.

Swap Vecinio with Milik. Solve both club's problems.

Or do a 3 way swap between Milik, Dzeko, and Vecino. Solve all 3 club's problems and make Conte happy.
