For me, Scamacca is better in link up play, and as a target man. His shooting is also levels above Pinamonti's.

De Vrij will be sold and Bremer comes. I don't think de Vrij will fetch 35-40m, but 25m would be acceptable (he is 30y old). Maybe we could save 1-1,5m gross with salaries. Good.
Get rid of Kolarov and Dambro and bring Luiz Felipe for their money. Good.
We will have 4 relaible CBs with Rano the 5th option.

The question is miidfield. Vidal, Vecino and Sensi are gone. Alexis probably too. We talk a lot about Scamacca and Frattesi. But I don't see Sassuolo let them both go. Don't forget, Sassuolo is like Hoffenheim of Italy. Their ower is rich. They are not like Genoa or Sampdoria, where every good player is on sale at the first call. But one of them is achievable.
I would go for Scamacca. I like the guy. And he has an year to play alongside Dzeko to adapt to a bigger club.
In the midfiled we could only bring 2 role players behind our starters. We don't need starters at any price. It would be good but not a must. Let's say Freuler and Maggiore or Thorsby. I would be ok with this. Gags could take the 6th spot.

If this team stays healthy, Gosens, Bremer, Scamacca adapt to a bigger team, we could be favorites to win again scudetto. Even with Vlahovic at fucking Juventus.
Don't forget scudetto is a marathon not a sprint. The deeper team, the one who could rotate the players and keep them fresh, has the most chances, assuming is not big gap in value.

If i could choose only one of Sassuolo guys, i would definitely go for Frattesi. He's the real deal. Maggiore and Thorsby aren't Inter material, even as backups. We need to stop bringing mediocrity to the club.

I like your'e thinking, and i think this is exactly what don Beppe is planning to do.

With the purchases of Onana en Gosens we already fixed some issues for the coming mercato. And, if the rumours are true, it will cost us almost nothing the coming 18 months.

It's save to say De Vrij will be gone coming summer. I think that will earn us something between 25 and 30 million. We also have Vanheusden and Pirola. they could be sold for something like 10 and 5 million or used as counterparts. Bremer will be the De Vrij replacement for +/- 20 million and i expect Luiz Felipe (Italian international now) to come free. That settles us in defence.

The question is indeed our midfield. We have Brozo, Barella, Hakan and probably Gagliardini. Vecino, Vidal and Sensi will be gone. That would mean we save a lot on salaries. We also have Agoumé. We could reintegrate him, but we probably don't, sell him (10 million tops) or use him as a counterpart somewhere (maybe even with a buy-back option). Sensi can offer us maybe another 10 million, if he does a good job at Samp. I believe Fratessi will come. Maybe on some loan with obligation or some pay in installments deal. I wouldn't be suprised if someone like Djuricic came, on a free. Or someone like Maggiore. as 5th/6th option for our midfield.

With Perisic gone we also need someone as vice-Gosens. Maybe we go for Kostic in the summer for something like 10 million, as a more attacking option on the left wing. Maybe Biraghi comes back or we go for Parisi. But we need someone there.

Then it gets interesting. I think Scamacca is our top target in the attack. With Alexis probably gone, we also need his replacement. We also own Pinamonti, Salcedo, Esposito and Satriano. They all could be inserted as counterparts, sold with a buy-back option or sold for good. Fact remains there is no place for them in our squad next season and we need some money. I really think Don Beppe sees a opportunity in Dybala (although i don't believe it until i see it). An attacking line of Lautaro, Dzeko, Dybala, Correa and Scamacca would be insane. On top of that i wouldn't be surprised if Inzaghi turns Dybala into his Lazio Luis Alberto. Alberto used to be an ss also and Dybala has experience playin as an am too. Especially when we play with Gosens and Dumfries on the flanks we maybe have some room too play with a real am instead of a cm without losing too much defensive awareness.

What I‘d appreciate really much in summer is if we get mainly Serie A Players. It is pretty clear that we have to rebuild the squad on a larger scale so we need as much players as possible who already know the environment.

Man Utd insist on sending van de Beek on a dry loan. The bigger problem would be convincing the player to join as we can't guarantee him playing time. As for Nandez, there were reports yesterday Cagliari are asking for 2m loan with option to buy for 15m. If this isn't a masked obligation it wouldn't be too bad.

Freuler is about to extend or he's already done it. I don't like the idea of integration of both Frattesi and Agoume. With 3 slots in the mid, one of them will rot on the bench as our starters are already known. I'd take Frattesi and Bonaventura + 5g for the back up three. Bona's contact expires in the summer and he will come for free, so it's not needed investment there.

Wait a fucking minute? You say no to Maggiore or Thorsby because they are mediocre. But in the same time you are ok with Nandez for 17m. I don't see them regularly, maybe you also don't, but there is a much difference between them? This is just a serious question. A bonus for Nandez would be, that he can play multiple position and can be used as a jolly joker.
