What is the due date of the option on Rafinha?
Same as for Cancelo. That`s why Ausilio is trying to re-negociate a new deal with Barcelona: loan+option to buy, for 1 or even 2 years. Even if the redemption clause will be higher than the current one. Just for the FFP books.

Like I said in the other thread, we have to learn from 2010, where we made almost 0 changes to the squad simply because of the euphoria of success. This squad needs a complete redoing.

Don't forget Gabriel Barbosa.

I'd also like to add Ranocchia. Dude gives his all and was okay throughout the season, but his past is incriminating.

If we have to choose between Cancelo and Rafinha I would have to pick Cancelo. He have that extra pace and spark that we terribly miss.

Rafinha is very smart player though

I'm still insisting on taking the chance on SMS and forget about both loanees. With Rafinha we can actually work a new loan deal.

But SMS is rumored to go to Man Utd for 80-90m. That'd be disastrous if we waste 70m when a small push from that can get us a perennial Ballon d'Or contender...

I won't complain if we redeem both (I'll just be waiting to see who will be moaning about their price tag during the next seasons), but if we fail to secure SMS because we have other priorities, then seriously fuck this shit.

I have to agree with you on that, 80-90 million it's a steal especially considering gabigol + joao mario cost that much. Honestly even if we don't sign SMS. I really hope we can finally sign someone who's a proven world class player. No more gambles and high potential players. Lets get a world beater into this team

And why would SMS come to Inter instead of an EPL team with higher wages?

But yes, if he'd agree to come I'd even sell Icardi for him.

And why would SMS come to Inter instead of an EPL team with higher wages?

But yes, if he'd agree to come I'd even sell Icardi for him.

Why would he get more wages there? Alexis Sanchez and Kevin de Bruyne are the highest earners in England and they earn slightly more than 9m a season after tax. We are going to pay Icardi something like 7m net. Pogba earns around 8m net. He will also be a guaranteed leader at Inter whilst he may be one of many at Man City or Man Utd. The only other club that has extremely high wages for an individual is Arsenal with Ozil but they're not in Champions League this season and they're changing coaches so they will be an awkward environment.
Chelsea's highest earners are Hazard, Fabregas and they both get around 6m net.

The paying gap is not huge. The only issue is that they can afford more of them. Milan has Bonucci on a 7,5m net deal which is close to what Pogba earns at Man Utd and probably as much as SMS can get at Man Utd, but he's on a 1.5m net deal so they will be offering 4.5-5.5 at best. Which we can afford.. Milan also have Donnarumma at 6m. They can't really afford them though, but Juventus on the other hand has Higuain at 7.5m Dybala at 7m and Douglas Costa at 6m and too many players at 3.5-4.5m.

After 6m, I don't think there's a big difference for the players from 6 to 8m as they can get sponsor deals that cover the difference. On the other hand, making 10 or 12 or15m is a deal breaker of course compared to the 6-7m we could offer.

He's staying in the league he's already established in. He won't have to change countries. That's usually a big plus.

And there's no club in England that's bigger than Inter that can afford him. Even Man Utd is arguable, they're just wealthier. Liverpool cannot afford him and they have Keita incoming.

Inter being back at the Champions League is a big deal. And one of the top destinations for players. I know that join dates don't mean that much, but I'm pretty sure many of you have no idea what today means for the club. It's a restoration to normality, it's not something that needs to be celebrated. And normality at Inter means = we get to have lots of world class players.

Lol, that would be the rape of Lazio, take CL from them and then SMS on top of that. I only hope he doesnt end up you know where.

This sentence has changed everything. It would make sense for a player like SMS to leave a defeated Lazio and join a CL club with his teammate De Vrij. It all depends on his will.

Also if we intend to go back being a top club then we need to start singing players like this. We should take financial risks now that we're in the CL.

I think the club could potentially sell 40,000 season tickets next season. The ticket revenues will skyrocket, Champions League football alone is guarantee for at least 35m just for sending 11 empty jerseys in 6 games. Then you have tv rights. More sponsor money. We barely made it this time so we cannot be prudent, we need to take some risks that have high reward and giving good enough chances of repeating a top 4 spot. Lazio might collapse but you have other teams that may do well next year.

The final thing we need to know is the FFP gap. It's supposed to be the final season of strict measures. So once that's done, we should be able to get SMS, Rafinha, Cancelo, Lautaro and a few more. We will also have the cash from the sales of Kondogbia, Joao Mario, Eder, Candreva and whoever else we decide to sell. It will be a cash flow issue from that moment and on as we seem to have taken care of the accounting issues and the whole debt restructuring saga.
If everything is as they report, we have to fill this FFP gap until 30/6 and then it's the same rules as everyone. No break even policy or profit policy.

We can get Martella from Crotone on the cheap, maybe loan them Pinamonti and another Primavera kid for a full Serie B season as well. Good backup player for the left back spot assuming Dalbert goes up for sale. There's also Strinic whose contract is expiring. Faraoni is another Crotone player we could use and he comes with a club grown status as well. Could provide depth for the whole right flank.
If Torreira is available for 25m we could also go for him and since he's not a done deal to Napoli that makes him doable. Otherwise there's Barella. And we could make an offer for Sansone to compete with Perisic for that AML spot.

-------------------------------------------Handanovic

Cancelo------------------de Vrij---------------------Skriniar------------------Asamoah

-------------------------------Torreira*------------------Brozovic

----------------Rafinha--------------------Milinkovic-----------------------Perisic

---------------------------------------------Icardi

*instead of Torreira it can be Barella or Gagliardini even.

Bench: Padelli, Miranda, Ranocchia, Martella/Strinic, D'Ambrosio, Gagliardini*, Vecino, Karamoh, Valero, Sansone, Martinez, plus a few other options.

I don't think this is unrealistic, unless we have to sell 2 players to make up 40m for the FFP within 40 days, which will slightly change things.

Inter should go for all 3 and sell everyone else on the mediocre list.

I'm really excited on who this team may get with CL football. Suning would do good not to repeat the "Inter is coming" frenzy, though.

I think we desperately need 2 midfielders and an attacker/winger. Looking at our squad:

GK: Handa, Padelli, we are ok

CBs: Miranda, Skriniar, de Vrij and Ranocchia/youth player. This is good enough even if we sell Ranocchia.

FBs: Cancelo, Asamoah, D'Ambrosio, Dalbert/youth player. We can sell Santon, Nagatomo, and maybe even Dalbert and still be ok. This is because Dumbo can back up both positions, so the 4th FB can be a youth player for coppa games.

Midfield: Brozovic, Gags, Rafinha, maybe Vecino. Thats it for 3 positions. We need 2 quality players here. We can sell Mario, Kdog and put down Valero. But this is the area where we need the most investment, as was evident today.

Attack: Icardi, Perisic, Karamoh, Martinez. Its time to sell Candreva, Eder and Pinamonti. We need at least 1 quality attacker, if not two.

Whoever says vecino is a starter... Just stop watching football.

Yeah cool he scored a goal but he is a total mediocre torino player.

We need ballsy players.
Ive said many times, that if brozo plays with 70% of commitment and sacrifice as he does for croatia we have a motherfucker in our team. And he has done that the past weeks, he actually cared for that chl spot. Brozo and rafinha in my eyes are cemented starters for next season. Please steven zhang, multiply your tears with millions and buy us SMS. Make a statement for fucks sake, 80/90 millions. Let em now we are back.

Candreva and perisic can just go wherever they please, thry can take borja with them too :D

Players that must remain no matter what:
Maurito
Skriniar
Rafinha
Cancelo
Dambro
Karamoh
Brozo.

We need a SMS type of guy. A fearless faggot :D a leader. A physical beast.
We cant rely on lautaro and karamoh tho, we need someone up there with maurito too, someone who likes to assist and get dirty.

Idk im kinda high from our win so... I had forgoten to scream like a bitch for this club :D

Honestly I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I have a feeling we’ll be able to keep one of Cancelo and Rafinha now and make the moves we have scheduled. Anything else will require creativity from Ausilio and a club that’s willing to play ball with payment structuring.

I would sell:

- Icardi
- Joao Mario
- Kondogbia
- Candreva
- Gabigol
- Eder
- Borja
- Santon

That could give us over 200 millions to reconstruct, plus CL money and something from Suning. This Sergej guy is sick, I would seriously sell Icardi to get him.
