Random question:

We have all these players on loan with an option to buy. Our options presumably expire on June 30th. Our fiscal year for the purposes of the SA ends on the 30th. What's the logic on acquiring all of these players on loan if we need to choose whether or not to redeem them in the same fiscal year we acquire them?

I think we can move them for the next fiscal year (starting 1st of July 2019). Loan ends on June 30th, we agree to use the option and we pay next fiscal year (July).

It'd be interesting (or funny in a bad way) to see how this thread will be at the end of December after that crazy packed schedule just before the window reopens.

My guess is that we'll be crying for a left back, not necessarily a clearcut starter. The central midfielder is rather obvious, but I think if we cannot get rid of Joao Mario and Valero, it's impossible to sign one in January unless it's some quick fix loan deal.

IMO we have to get something out of Joao Mario. Doesn’t need to be a starter but he needs to give us something or we’re too thin

Some cold drinks for Ausilio and Zhang would suffice

I'd say this is unlikely to happen. In his last games for us before he joined West ham he was absolutely atrocious. And now that he talked shit about the club and pretty much all the supporters hate him I can't see him getting any better. Spalletti doesn't seem to like him either.

We are really thin in the midfield. Mario can be a back up in case we lose 2 midfielders to injury/suspension. He can also play a coppa game or two. Till January, then we should try to sell his ass again and get a proper midfielder.

mercato ended not long ago but...we all know it never really is closed...so,new rumors are.

Ausilio has a boner for Musa Barow and Rafael Toloi...as a potential Miranda replacement.
We love to make deals with Atalanta since Gags transfer...and since Suning and Atalanta boss make business as well outside football.

[h=1]Inter, Suning programma il grande colpo: il sogno nerazzurro è Chiesa[/h]
Suning has a big signing in mind next season, the dream is getting Chiesa

next season's great buy should be(if Rube or someone else comes and pounces him with higher fee and ambitions) Chiesa, the club, from Suning to Ausilio and Spallo have a boner for this future Italian top player. They are not only convinced about his talent but his mental/humane side.
Pioli and Spallo apparently talked about the kid(old friends looks like it) and Stefano told great things about him to Spallo...
We already asked for him this summer but Fiora said nope and slammed a 70mil price tag which we couldn't offer obviously but Suning's ambitions are only growing for Inter and with the SA falling down in the summer...such pricey buys could be done,so that Inter grows further.

The only way to get rid of him would be to use him in the Chiesa deal next summer just like what we did with 9g and Santon.

Why get more wingers?

Spalletti likes to call them versatile players.

I actually readed few times "Spalletti is willing to give him a chance".Probably after CL games.I'm pretty sure he will play.

"One of the many reasons that Inter decided not to go after Vidal at the end of the summer trnasfer window was because of his physical condition, specifically his knee.

And it seems like the Chilean has suffered yet another knee injury, this time with the National team and because of it, Vidal was forced to miss today’s training and is unlikely to play on Friday against Japan.

Barcelona are now waiting for development, trying to figure out if the player will be sent back to Spain or will continue working with his Chilean national team. Last April, Vidal underwent a knee surgery and that same knee is now experiencing issues."
From Fedenerazurra.

This one of many reasons FIF only wants 18y old players on the field and not 25+.

I already posted this in the midfielders thread :p because all our [ex]targets threads are closed...

Good that we didn`t sign Vidal, we can start saving for SMS/Barella :D

It's not like we are experiencing any better with Nainggolan, he played one game so far, and in that one game he limped off.

Hopefully he gets better.

There are certain elements of luck in this, so hopefully we get lucky for once.

You know, once upon a time La Viola utterly hated everything about Juventus and what they represented. Now they routinely do transfer business with them. Can't even begin to think how disappointed I would be if I were a Fiora fan and the club is betraying some of their values.

Next mercato will last from 3 January to 18 January 20.00 CET
If we buy a Modric then he could play CL football for us, even though he will play the group stages with Real
The CL list can have 3 Modifications!

CdS writes we want a Modric type of CM besides Brozo. Renew Icardi's contract and keeping an eye on Martial and Darmian
