Gigi Simoni is unimpressed with Inter’s transfer strategy, noting “Milan bought everyone and they are there feeling sorry for themselves.”

"Now let’s see if Suning manage to keep their promises, as so far they’ve done practically nothing,” former Inter Coach Simoni told Sky Sport Italia.

“Their cousins at Milan have bought everyone and they are there feeling sorry for themselves.

“I, as an Inter fan, hope that the team can be brought back to the success of the past.”

Gigi going in on them

I wonder if it's Suning blocking and delaying transfers, or it's Sabatini who still hasn't decided what to do.

If there is 24M for a Vecino then there is surely 45M-60M for a top player. But it seems like we are buying only players that really fit in our team.

And there was a offer for Vidal. You guys are acting like they are doing nothing, its not true. Watch Premier League, unknown players getting buyed for 40-80M. Is that what you want? After saying that Kondogbia is bad and we over pay every fucking player?

Isn't there a clear conflict of interest with Ancelotti feeding Milan and blocking transfers to Inter?
Cuz he's a piece of shit...always has been towards Inter.

Im sorry I can't be ignorant. The truth is that Milan made great transfers and I can swear now that if we don't get one or two really class players...they are gonna finish higher than us. For years now something has really been going wrong for Inter. Last year some pretty decent, if not good transfers were made....but once agin nothing positive happened. Of course major fault is due to the coaches, but players are to blame too. We can't have Rannochia, Nagatomo, Dambrosio and etc in our team for years and expect something big to happen. These are players for average teams. See what Milan did? They changed their whole squad, which stunk really bad for years....and you'll see the results this season. While at Inter almost everything remains the same, of course Spaletti is a huge upgrade....but we desperately need few quality signings and getting rid of the garbage players. It really hurts to see the other contenders strenghtening so much and us sitting on the sidelines and crossing our fingers because the way things are going....next season will not be better than the previous one...position wise....maybe 1 or 2 laces higher....but we are certainly not gonna end up in the CL places. Hope Im wrong and something happens soon.

What if this is all a set up to get 1 year out of spaletti, get us into the champs league with minimum signings and then once we are in the champs league next year...replace him with simeone and let him have $200MM to build a team that he wants....

If Spalletti gets us in the UCL, we are not letting him go

Apparently, Simeone is about to extend the contract with Atletico Madrid. Not official but those are the rumors.

That would mean Inter management need to be publicly flogged for stupidity. Nah, even they cannot be THAT stupid.

I was depressed over this transfer window, now I'm just fecking annoyed. I appreciate there's still some time to go, but as of the end of July we have signed two players of note, and if I'm brutally honest I'd never heard of Skriniar until we signed him.

We appear to be squabbling over the fee for a Nice left back, again someone I never heard of, whilst our rivals are signing big name players.

I've had my doubts about Suning and their real intentions, and recent revelations about the takeover of Inter have not eased those doubts.

I seriously think they are playing us and the coaching staff like a fecking banjo.

Suning paid over 100m last year for transfers and we were a fucking joke. Maybe they want to let the new guys prove what they are capable of and then open the wallet. Even if they are billionaires they don't want to be seen as idiots. Because at the end of the day, a stupid with money is still a stupid.

I'll prefer as the stupid, a stupid that can buy Neymar for 220M, while the genius sticking their nose to a guy like nagahomo, ranocchia, dumbro, biabiany.

Their intentions are clear. In the last 12 months, Suning have spent €212million on transfers already, and plan to spend another €100m in the next month. Yes, Suning have spent as much money if not more than the Milan owners on transfers.

Unfortunately, just intentions are not enough. Competence is the problem here. There have been too many "cooks" to spoil the broth. Suning bought some players Mancini wanted, some as per Ausilio, some that Kia suggested, then Pioli and now Sabatini and Spalletti. Its been chaotic.

Milan have spent money focused as a team, and hence their acquisitions make more sense. Hopefully from now Sabatini will give a clear direction for Inter's spending.

Exactly, when you take a look reputation for example of Joao Mario before he arrived here and Cahanoglu before Milan everyone would agree that Mario is twice a player with much more potential. Fact that we took year from him is totally another problem.

Same goes for Kondogbia ws Kessie etc.

I envy them only on full backs but we have enough time to fix that.

Karamoah(I dig his surname),Dalbert,Vecino and Keita are hot now...and then maybe Schick and a top signing(Vidal,Aguero(lel latest rumor),DIMaria?) maybe also a fucking RB or give Valietti a chance(looks rly promising from what I saw,nah saw too little tbh),I'd get Aurier, many signings aren't they?! If Frog and/or Murillo are sold, new CB's...
Is Ivan now staying?!do we need Keita then?! SOOO many questions still!!

Handa
Dumbo?-Skrinko-Miranda-Dalbert
?-Valero
Candreva-Mario-Ivan
Keita/Eder

Gagsy will have a hard time getting his starting spot tbh...

Valero,Gagsy,Kondo,Bozo,Vecino,?

Icardi isn't fit at all...he is out 2 months now, worrying a bit tbh!
Pina still looks like a pretty raw kid tbh, against Lyon it was clear

if we sign Schick(please, pretty please) I'd try him in the Candreva position, what about GabiG?!

1.Karamoah(not gonna be a starter is he?!)loaned out?!
2. Dalbert MUST Nagatomo or Santon or Ansaldi out?!
3. Vecino
4.Keita
5.Schick?
6.top player?
7.CB?
8.RB?
9. another CB?

too many questions still?!

Walter Sabatini returned to Milan and is in a restaurant in the central area, the 'Cavallini'. He will negotiate for Yann Karamoh, Henrique Dalbert and Matias Vecino, whose officiality may be on August 1st. also working on Keita: Claudio Lotito wants to accept the most important offer between Inter and Juventus. Inter has agreed with the entourage, the Bianconeri have been trying to move in advance. It can be done for 22-23 million. The only technical counterpart that Lazio would have accepted would be Eder. And dinner, it would be with Senegalese agent Roberto Calenda.

Just sign 3-4 players honestly. for the forward line just sign Schick and keep Perisic. For midfield get Vecino for depth we don't need vidal that much. Dalbert for left back and If there's cash to spend use it on a quality rb not vidal. Call it a day till winter.

As for outgoing transfers: Jovetic, Nagatomo, Pinamonti on loan, one of Brozovic/Kondogbia, Biabiany.

You're going to say whatever fits your narrative aren't you?

Yes, our strategy has not been good. But saying Milan is more "focused" or "make more sense" can't not be more wrong. They're clearly throwing a lot of mud to the wall and hope some would stick.

Tell me more about how would signing both Conti and R.Rod make sense? One can only play WB, the other can only play FB. And what are they going to do with all the forwards they have or going to sign? Andre Silva, Borini, Cahanoglu, X with Bacca yet to leave are too many for one striker formations and if they want to play 2 strikers then what is the fate of Suso, Bonaventura?

Since Thohir, we had given to coach i.e Mancini too much power in the market, I can't think of any signing that is "Ausilio's signing". And look at this paid off? He kept demanding stupid players and quit us 2 weeks before the season started. Then Suning took over and people started complaining how they knew nothing about football. Yet Joao Mario and Gagliardini made more sense all of your Mancini's shits combined, now we have a clear direction with Sabatini and Spalletti working together. But Sunning has to be incompetent, right?

I'm not writing this to defend our works, we clearly wasn't good enough in the last years. But your kissing Milan's ass is unbearable.

Well said, you have to remind yourself tho that half this forum is either working at Mc Donalds or live in their mom and dads basement feeding of Fifa.

its pretty obvious what Milan is doing their throwing mud at the wall hoping it sticks as you said, as they dont have much choices taking into account that their money is borrowed from a shark like Elliot, a loan btw which doesnt exactly comes without interest from the very same person. Id much rather take our approach any day of the week, signing like Vecino, Dalbert (if they go thrue) and Skriniar which I suspect will be a nightmare for attackers in years to come are all excellent thought thru signings even if some dont realize it yet they will soon and all will be forgotten. :interflag::interflag::interflag:
