We need Robinho, Rossi, Montolivo or Affelay. Coutinho is not good enough.

Coutinho is good enough but too young to take responsibity. It will take time... I'd start him over Pandev any day.
We so need a better option than Pandev.

Right now the only attacking player who is even average on our team is Eto'o. All the rest are crap on their current form. Coutinho looks like a boy playing among men, tbh and Inter aren't some midtable club waiting for players to bloom.

We really should go for someone like Vargas, I don't care if he's worth 20mil or 25mil. It wouldn't be a financial disaster to spend that much for one mercato. Wake the fuck up, 1 day left.

To be honest, when I knew about the new rule first thing I thought was: "HOLY SHIT WE NEED TO BUY 10 PLAYERS SINCE WE CANT BUY ANYONE NEXT YEAR"

MM have different ideas. I wouldn't bash him. He's just done too much for the club, and I'll forgive him. I'm not angry, MM. I am disappointed :p

We desperately need a new striker/wing forward. That should be our priority, not a midfielder.

Inter director Marco Branca feels the Nerazzurri do not need strengthening even though their performances haven't been up to their standards lately.

Ahead of tonight's game against Bologna, he expects the team to deliver as it has always done in recent years.

“I am expecting the team to win this,” said Branca.

“We don't really need to wait and see, because a good display is due now.

“I don't feel we need a big signing,” he added referring to Cesc Fabregas.

“We signed Coutinho and we also got other interesting players. We considered the situation and overall we felt the team's quality could not be improved.

“We don't care about what other teams do because we have to think with our own brain.

“Big teams are made by great transfer markets but you also need to avoid useless players.

“Practically, if there is no one really good to buy then you cannot just go out and get someone for the sake of it. So that is why so far we have decided to stand still," he concluded.

My heart is crying a little bit. When Mourinho came he built something. Now we won everything but our team was still developing, our team wasn't finished. We need a miedfielder and a left forward then it would be perfect and we could wait for our young prospects to replace the oldies one for one.
But now we have still 2 position where we have no quality player. I don't want to see Stankovic or Zanetti in miedfield and I am tired to see Pandev playing out of position. Like I said my heart is crying. We were nearly at the end of building a team. When everything goes wrong we have to use a youngster when he is not ready, that would be horrible. A youngster should be introduced when the team is working not as a last resort.
And we should face one thing, we struggled immense against smaller teams last season. It was very close at the end but we won it. Also due the fact the other teams fucked up more. But they got stonger. Milan now has a Ibrahimovic who can magically turn a draw into a victory against small teams. Juve got stronger. Even Roma. They don't have to get much stronger to catch us.
We won last year due to our motivator and our determination. Now we won everything and that changes everything. Our motivator is gone and our motivation is not the same anymore and thousands of interviews of Inter players can't make me believe the opposite.

Then there is moratti who keeps mentioning the fair play rules like an excuse. No one does except Inter. He says we have to sell. But we SOLD! Were is the Ibrahimovic money? Where is the money form the year we won everything? Where are the 60 mln we gained due to selling this transfer window?

sorry for my emtotional outbreak. It's just that one year could change everything. I know that sooner or later we don't win the scudetto but not in this way. It could destroy a lot of work i am afraid.

My friend you hit the essence with this post. One can tell that you wrote this from your heart, like true, worried interista. And yet you remained totaly objective. I know I am short time here but this is def the best post I read so far.

I think he is worth somewhere between 30 and 40 mln, and to be honest I think he is worth every penny of it, considering his attitude/personality, his constant progress in recent years, and what he showed on the club and NT level last year.

Well lets say I am with you there, maybe 30-35 mil. But I bet that if we had offered 20-25 mil they would let him go. Al this talk about high asking prices is bulshit. I read that barca wanted at least 40 mil for ibra and then they sold him for 24. they wanted cesc, and yet they didnt wanted to offer right price, belive me if they offer 40-50 mil they would get him. Same with schweini, in press they would say we want 30 - 35, this means they would sell him for 20 - 25. but we are totaly cheap this summer. you cant get world class cm for 10 mil and muntari, but 20-25 mil is penny for player that is top 5 in his position, and you def need him.

My favorite part is "we also got other interesting players." WTF does that even mean?

11 hours and 27 min left ..... Branca do smth man..

Actually i would like to sign someone with the hope that this someone has been studied all this time and we are signing him in the last day just for financial reasons because if it isn't like that than i'm not so sure that a player found and bought in the last day would be useful to us both technically and financially ( inler type)..

I'm 100% in agreement that we shouldn't sign a player just for the sake of signing a player.

Deadline deals are hella expensive...and currently is there anyone out there REALLY worth it? Seriously? Any deals we make will be for players worth about 10 mil...they aren't going to fix our midfield problems. So please do not get your hopes up.
