I hope we stick to the same formation in midfield and attack which we did against Artemedia..Consistency is key at this stage..

You know that their are minor changes needed only

I agree. We should stick to the same lineup if possible.

--------------Adriano--------Recoba

---Solari----Cambiasso-----Veron-----L. Figo

---Wome-----Samuel-------Cordoba-----J. Zanetti

-----------------------J. Cesar

I think only Wome should change..and we should definately see some Martins in the second half. This would be ideal if we keep it up and go with it into the Milan game..

One point perhaps you guys may have forgotton:
Recoba doesn't have the consistency in his legs, he can't handle 90mins matches back to back.

However, I would LOVE for Recoba to start, but to be rested way before the game ends, so he's fit and ready for the Milan Derby.

i will like recoba to play, he was not bad today, also i will like CZ but if he is going to be sub for cambiasso then NO, or a midfield cambiasso/CZ or a midfield cambiasso/veron.

I would approach this game as if it were Milan we are playing exactly. The game after this I would rest a couple of important players (against Ascoli) like Recoba,Figo,Veron, even JZ and Adriano if neccessary to have them fresh and wanting to go against Milan..

Plus I want our game against Ascoli not to be an easy game.I want us to suffer and win 1-0.Our team responds better IMHO after a hard game concentration wise than after an easy game..

Cro, I'm glad you started this thread.

Well even though its not the most important game, I think we should use the same starting line-up as we did in the last CL. I didn't see the game, and didn't see Solari play, but I would still like seeing him in the line-up.

GIVE HIM 90 MINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not give Wome 90 mins too?!!! As far as I'm concerned they both haven't been given enough time to express their talent. I almost enjoyed Stankovic as a sub.....

Anyways, I have a good feeling that Adriano will score many goals for our side. Honestly, Mancini said it for himself...Adriano needed a few straight weeks of training to get back into form.......It is obvious that he has been training hard.

May I add one last thing?

How come INTER unlike Chelsea, Barca, etc, use different starting line-ups for every/MOST games?

I would like to image an Inter with:

1. Figo scoring all time
2. Adriano scoring more than anyone in Serie A
3. Samuel being called the "wall again"
4. And Martins turning into the most rediculous goal scoring freak on this planet!

We all know he (Martins) is unlike any player we have ever seen!!

oh, I've just read our upcoming fixtures. No wonder some of you have said that we had more difficult matches earlier this season than Gobbi and Bilan.

(Current standings of our opponents are in brackets)

13 Sunday, November 27 2005 15:00 MESSINA - INTER (17)
14 Saturday, December 3 2005 20:30 INTER - ASCOLI (15)
15 Sunday, December 11 2005 20:30 INTER - MILAN (2)
16 Sunday, December 18 2005 15:00 REGGINA - INTER (14)
17 Wednesday, December 21 2005 20:30 INTER - EMPOLI (9)
18 Sunday, January 8 2006 15:00 SIENA - INTER (13)
19 Sunday, January 15 2006 15:00 INTER - CAGLIARI (20)
20 Wednesday, January 18 2006 15:00 TREVISO - INTER (19)
21 Sunday, January 22 2006 15:00 INTER - PALERMO (10)

Apart from the Bilan game, the next difficult game will be on January 22 (two months from now!) If we can maintain a winning streak, I'm sure we will be close to Gobbi by that time (if not top the table ;) )

So we should defenetly stick with the formation of The artmedia clash.
i hope that this is the first serie a match since a long time were gonna play real good footbal.
but what count s is a win we realy have to gain confidence before the derby and face milan when were in a good run.

We can rest players in the rangers game. Unless they are on a caution there is no need to rest them in serie a.

This is not a big game, but for the players as to be,we must keep the pressure on milan and fiorentina (juventus is too far, for now), if we are going to have easy games, except milan, we must make the best of it.
I think the line-up should be the same, and if possible for Veron to get a yellow card, coming back against milan.
Recoba and Adriano played very well together and Figo is showing is true football.
J. Zanetti gave a lot of stability to the defense and Cambiasso is doing great, maybe a bit tired, but great.

I want them to be hungry when they get on that pitch against Milan :)

Anyways the problem with the semi easy schedule that was eluded to is that we might get complacent, but I hope it doesnt happen and we close the gap..
