This guy has faced these kind of idiots for 8 years, you expect him to hold it in? Are you black? no...then STFU cause you obviously have no idea how it feels then.

As I said, the only bad thing Zoro did was not take it further (ie- take out a pistol and start acting like he was Tony Montana)

All right then, I guess only catanha and the other black members of the forums can carry on this discussion

Nah Frisk, carry on. It's not like your point is outrageous or malicious.

I still do think that it's very inappropriate for us whites to discuss or, worse, suggest how should a black react when he's racially insulted.

Other than that, no way that this discussion should be limited to anyone of any race.

What about this then:

ABDOULAIE DIARRA:

77400.jpg

"I live with my team-mates in a small villa in Milan. We're all together - me, Andreolli, Boumsong. We laugh, we tell each other stories, for us racism doesn't exist because we quite simply don't know it. I don't know why God made me with black skin and you with white skin, but I don't feel any difference and I wouldn't even want them to suspend matches for racist chants. I would prefer to continue and play because those people have no importance for me. Whoever links Inter to racism has understood nothing."

Frisko, if I were black, I would ignore racist chants just like Diarra, true. But it doesn't mean that I should expect all blacks to do the same. It would be somewhat stereotyping.

For one thing, I don't think it's fair to say only black people should engage in this debate. It's about respect between human beings. Surely I cannot understand the feeling of being racially abused as much as a black person, but that doesn't mean I can't debate it.

I think racist chants are a phuckin disgrace, and I completely agree that action should be taken to stop them.

What I don't think is fair is that the FIGC chose to ignore this problem for years. Why do we need a player to lose his cool and make a scene to actually see something being done about it?

Roman fans are well known racists, did anybody ever make such a big scandal? What about Nazis in the Ultras groups of many, many teams? Why are we tolerating that? Do we need somebody to make another scene before they consider taking steps against them?

Let's face it, it's gonna be damn hard to stop these people. If you put 50,000 people or more in a stadium, how many ignorant, stupid people are you going to get? 10% if you're lucky. Do the math.

Frisk, where did I say that you shouldn't participate in this debate at all? My only point is that we can't say that Zoro is over-reacting. Other than that, of course you are allowed, welcomed and encouraged to debate about the racism problem and how to control it. ;)

Anyways, I personally think that, after this, we should on discussions on the match and leave the racism debate in the topics in the General Inter Stuff forum. Agree? ;)

I don't see why we can't say he over reacted?? It's our right to give our opinion. We are allowed to say whatever we think as long as its within the rules of the forum. And as far as I know nothing in the rules prevent us saying someone overeacted.

Just my 10 cents. ;)

And anyway you're right, we're off topic, we're talking about this elsewhere.

He's got himself back in favour with Mancini which is great, tonight against Ascoli he's starting again 3rd time in a row and that doesn't happen much for the guy :D

Can anyone translate what it says about him in the picture above?
