And why the fuck should he stay, to be honest. Shopped around like he's a commodity, contract renewal offered 9 months before his deal runs out, a worsening squad, and an utterly inept management and ownership. All this this for someone who is considered the next captain.

His other option is almost tripling his pay and going to play with Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar.

Why? Captain. He knows money in Italy is not growing at the same rate. He enjoys living in Italy and is friends with his team-mates. Ownership is problematic, however the management is probably the best compared to the last 11 years.

There is interest from PSG, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and others inevitably raised his wage demands and forced the club to renegotiate.

According to Sky Sport Italia, a response has not yet arrived from Skriniar or his agent to the latest proposal put forward by Inter.

It is reported the wages will reach €6m per season net, the maximum under their current salary cap, with up to another €1m in performance-related bonuses.

This is still a long way behind the Paris Saint-Germain proposal that was believed to be worth €10m per season.

He probably learned from Lukaku and Hakimi who wants to return. I`m confident Milan will extend.

Don’t really see how people can be mad at him if he doesn’t renew.. he’s a professional and has to think about his career. If he can triple his salary and play with Messi, Hakimi, Mbappe I think it’s a decision that’s a no-brainer for most professionals. Players like JZ are rare. Even if he leaves, he’s been a soldier here and a solid LGI candidate on this forum imo. It’s not like he’s gonna pull a Calhanoglu and join Milan for a 1m salary increase (although I guess we can’t say anything with 100% certainty)…

Honestly in our current situation i dont think we can go much beyond 6.5mio and we sure as shit cant match psg no matter what...
So it allways depended more on skriniar and his will to stay in milano rather than what we offer.
Anyways i do hope that at the very least skriniar is loyal enough to resign, with a low buy out so that at least we dont lose him for free.....
