Inter fans from all over the world will consider this forum a total joke if Skriniar ends up in LGI.

Also, some of you guys that are asking for a poll...😅😅😅😅😅

On a much serious note, why did Inter remove the Goodbye Skriniar post from Instagram?

The comments were probably wild

So sad how it ended with Skriniar, but I wish him best of luck on his new adventure. He was a great servant to this club for many years and one of biggest reasons that our club became competitive again after these banter years.

Love the guy, wish him all the best, but to PSG of all the clubs  W/o transfer fee he could have gone anywhere I bet, EPL would be a great rebound option, come on...

Interesting to see who comes out first with what really happened. Didn't Marotta say he wanted to talk about Skriniar after the season? I think as fans we have a right to know exactly what happened. Now Skriniar is getting all kinds of shit on him while the blame might as well lie with management.

Very sad to see his goodbye video has to be removed from social media due to the offensive comments. He doesn't deserve such a farewell.

No one will.

It's not good for the club to come out with these things...

I did notice it’s no longer on the Inter insta account. Any confirmation that it was actually deliberately removed for that reason?

What exactly do we need to know? Skriniar can pick any club he wants for whatever reason he has, just that the club in this case happens not to be Inter.

Maybe it's the money, maybe he felt hurt that Inter offered him no guarantees. Doesn't matter, the truth is he had all the rights to make his own decisions. He wasn't forced out by any means though, due to a simple fact that we never reached the point where we could force him out i.e. agreeing a sale with the buying teams.

For Inter, the management and the fans, there are lessons to be learnt though. Namely, don't get attached to a player, don't leave things to the last minutes, don't believe in promises and don't overvalue the players.

Don't you think Skriniar will come out and tell what happened? As he is getting the abuse right now. I have the feeling you know more about the situation then you told here? :D

No confirmation but I think they did it for that reason. There were only negative comments about him.

Then let me speak for myself: I want to know why he made this choice. This player has fired his own agent to make it easier to extend his contract. He really seemed to care about the club and then saying goodbye like this means something happened between him and Inter's management in my opinion. I want to know what happened exactly. ( So I know if I can buy a PSG shirt with Skriniar.:yao:)

Did you see Icardi, Wanda, Marotta, Zhang or Spalletti say anything about their thing?
Nainggolan speak about his stuff?

Skriniar felt the need to communicate with the Curva Nord and the next thing we saw was a statement of support towards the player. Doesn't that answer your question?

Brozovic probably is the only one who's going to speak. Maybe in riddles, maybe through silly instagram comments, maybe in a Croatian interview. But he'll communicate it in his own way.

So do I, if he can speak honestly about that. But the chance is we won't. So it's just better that we accept and move on.

Maybe we will know in 2028 when he's 33 and we sign him again on a free :yao:

As for Skriniar, there is a lot of information available that's not really out there (yet?) but the exact details of when he got swayed by PSG are still unknown, at least outside of a select few which would include Skriniar, PSG transfers people, his agent and perhaps 2-3 people at Inter.

The gist of it is that we threw him under the bus and he has every right to leave. Even on his terms.

@Materazzi_23 this is what CN said on Skriniar after their talk.
Marotta iirc said he'll speak as well at the end of the season but he's just gonna hide behind his finger as usual and claim that "the player has made his decision and the club will respect it" and all that nonsense that will be repeated for Brozovic and was already said about Icardi.

How I imagine things went

"We are going to sell you, we need the money for other operations"
"But I love playing for Inter"
"Are you sure? We have offers from Tottenham."
"Nah, I'm good."

--about 1 year later--

"We are going to sell you, we still need the money"
"So after selling Hakimi and Lukaku, you guys still need the money, huh?"
"PSG wants you, at least let your agent talk to them"

Skriniar talked to PSG and saw Inter cannot offer what he feels he deserves, also sees Inter as a failing project. If they keep shopping him around, why wouldn't he feel a certain way?
