Has Inter ever done anything cornyier than Inter bells ? I know there was something else but I just can't quite put my finger on it.

Also, 'cornyier' - more corny than something that is already corny.

looks weird spelt out. I don't think it's even such a word. But my auto correct accepted. Strange.

We should all be ashamed if Bbilan under Gattuso beat us the Coppa. Imagine losing to a club who couldn't even fucking beat the worse team in Serie A history?

This would be worse than Beer Sheva winning at the Meazza.

Well, a derby is a derby, sometimes the worst team wins based purely on heart. Stranger things have happened, and Be'er Sheeva was just one of them (as was Schalke, the Ekdal hat-trick at the Meazza, etc.).

Thanks for reminding me about Ekdal :alone:

you should learn more about derbies & big matches. squads are not too important sometimes. in derbies jerseys plays.

with this thinking way, juve should beat us easily at torino with their squad. but they didnt.

Probably an unpopular opinion here, but I want to us to make an effort in the Coppa. We're already +7 off 5th place, so there's a bit of breathing room in case any bullshit happens. Lazio has only won one of their last four. With all the histrionics on and off the field and Immobile's inconsistency, I don't think they're up for a serious top-four challenge this year. I think winning the Coppa (or at least knocking out a couple of rivals) would be a good base for the team to mount a serious CL challenge next year.

But I shouldn't get ahead of myself- I don't have a problem if Spalletti thinks this team is only capable of making top four and nothing else.

Milan-Inter 1-1 (16-17 on penalties)
33' Borini (M); 95' Padelli (I).

Every opinion, including the unpopular ones, is equally legitimate and that goes without saying.

As for me, I am too burnt by the recent years to think about Coppa Italia. I just hope we don't lose to lazio and hopefully we win. That is our priority, at least the way I see it.

And I also think milan is so bad this year we might even beat them with the second line players.

Football is not maths. We won in roma an lost on our turf to Udinese. The prospects are not encouraging, I'll give you that.

Of course its not math but you get my point. Our subs are shit. At the same time I don't think it's fair against our top XI. Remember how Icardi cried last season? We need this win for morals too.

Lose a battle.Sure.But win the war.

That is how i see this game. The Lazio game is massive. We must win that.Irrespective of our ambitions at the start of the season being getting a Ucl spot, right now we are in the title race and have the chance of winning the league even if we believe our squad and performances rule that out.I agree with Marotta on us having a great chance of winning the league because we do not have any European distraction.Conte in his 1st season was able to win the league by only concentrating on the league. They did play the final of the Coppa that year but i think they had a deeper squad that year.

I felt Skriniar didnt have the best of games against Udinese and the mid week game in the Coppa can explain it.After the Lazio game we have a very tough away fixture against Fiorentina and then at home to Roma.I really do not want our Scudetto challenge to fizzle out because we got emotional over a derby in a lesser competition.Lets stay focussed on the league till the very end of the season.

This may be our best chance of winning the league because we do not have any UCL and with FFP we might not be able to spend a lot this summer and strengthen our squad to mount a challenge for the league with European games to play in mid week [hopefully they are the UCL and not EL :(].Also winning the league will make a few of our stars to not move abroad in search for the big trophies [ re Icardi , Skriniar , Perisic ].Lets concentrate on the big trophy i say!

I'd lose this one if it means 3 points against Lazio.

We have the Sassuolo game first
But for this one, I want a 6-0 win please. We can start worrying about Lazio on the 28th
