If Drogba arrives, Cruz will be used in a trade deal no doubt...

Our strikers for next season
Ibra, Drogba, Adriano, Suazo and Ballotelli.

I'm very confident in that just aslong as we have bought a couple of creative mids...

But i still have this feeling whoever is coach that Ronaldinho is coming... and for me that is a dream even if he is way bellow his best...

Lampard, despite not being half the player he was 3 years ago, is twice as good as any offensive midfielder we currently have.

That the sad truth.

The Corriere also says that Mourinho has requested the signing of Sevilla midfielder Seydou Keita, who has impressed since signing for the Andalusians from Lens last summer.

Who's this guy ??

EDIT - I found it. It's in the midfielder thread.

Keita is good, he is so good, he is not a clear DM like Diarra, he is similar to Essien if you ask me, not as good as Michael Essien obviously.

What overwhelming results in the poll lol. At least we're united in the fact that we all want Mancini out. Hopefully Lampard goes to Barca before we sign Jose though.

I hope Lampard goes to Juventus

Azz, we are no facking Serie C team. Lampard is a big Fat joke. One of the most useless players I've ever seen getting so much credit. Had there not been Makelele and Essien, he would have been playing at Southampton at best now... It's really funny how people actually like him. 20 shots per game, gets 1-2 lucky goals sometimes, and he's the best :howler: He doesn't even have to chase the ball! If I was in his place I could have had 5 goals per game if my shot was a bit strong...

Basicly it says Moratti denies he wants Mourinho immediately on the Inter bench.

At least that's what I make of it with my limited Italian knowledge :p

This is BS, he isnt as good as he was in 2005 where he was the best player in the world together with ronaldinho, but he certainly isnt useless. He makes 3 times more goals and assists than everyones favourite mr.useless - Dejan crapovic.

Even a poor lampard would be a massive upgrade, thats a fact.

I never rated Lampard high as ppl do, or did, cause he is not.
He never was near European best players.
But also he isnt useless.
Without Makelele and Essien he wouldnt be that good, so what? Here he can have Cambiasso and few more quality new players, and then Lampard can be that usefull guy who will run and run, score few shots, and always be a danger outside box...
I dont want him, and dont rate him like media and stuff, but he aint that bad either.

He is a big upgrade to anyone we currently have in that role no matter how you put it.

Thats the important thing, and given the fact that he can buy out his own contract for a small fee makes it an excellent transfer.

I always forget that thing...
But how much he earns?
And how many years are left on hsi contract...

I thought Chelsea might not let him go, but this rule makes it very easy.

Moratti: "An idea put forward by others"

Wednesday, 02 April 2008 15:06:05

MILAN - Massimo Moratti has again denied that there are any ongoing negotiations for ex-Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho. "For me, the situation should not be changed," he said.

Speaking on the sidelines of the presentation of a speedboat race named after his father Angelo, the Inter president explained: "It's an idea put forward by others but it's not the truth. However, it is seen as fascinating because everyone is expecting a few changes.

"For too many years these things have been brought up when we get to the last two months of the championship. I don't pay any attention to these things anymore, and I hope Mancini doesn't either. In the papers I read a lot of things that irritate me, but I'm used to it."

Moratti believes that Roma will remain a title challenger despite their defeat to Manchester United in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie. "They lost against a very strong opponent but they played well, so they are still a team to be feared," he said.

"But elimination is not a foregone conclusion. They have already showed against Real what they can do."

Mancini is going to stay, sadly. Unbelievable when 95% of Interisti worldwide want him out.

Remember, this is Moratti talking. We Interisti have clearly understood that when it comes to Moratti and Inter, nothing is impossible.

Naaah, don't believe this old fox :>

Too many pundits were saying, and reporting Mourinho and agent leaving Portugal to held talks, so that now we could believe in what Massimo is saying.

With this, it just seems, that the switch won't happen before the end of the season.

No one is talking about Essien, so I dont know how he got in to the mix over here. Carvalho I will love, Drogba I am a little bit skeptical about his age.

I hope as well Lampard go to Jube or some place. Dont want him, he wont get the space in SERIEA to shoot his long distance shots. Would much rather prefer Diego.

A switch at this time would be outright ridiculous. I don’t think many (at least not me) expected the special one to arrive during the current season. So, whatever that is about to happen (or not happen) will take place after the last game of the season. ;)
