I watched the Simpsons movie as well and liked it...It could have been better knowing that they were thinking about it for soo long,but its still funny..

I guess they put everything out there over the seasons its hard to come up with new scenarios and stick to the feel of the show as well..

Just like you Brad, the same old Homer getting himself into shit because of Food/Beer just doesn't amuse me anymore, but I'm still looking forward to watching and Mikey here claims his life has changed.

I want to see Brocks, but is Micheal Bolton wannabe Kevin Costner anything better than a bodyguard?

lifa and brad, i as well am a HUGE simpsons fan Ive seen every single episode and the recent seasons have disappointed me too but the movie is ****in fantastic the story line, the comedy everything is perfect.

Agreed, it was awesome. The only thing I missed was seeing Mr.Burns more as he is one of my fav characters.

Just saw the Simpsons last night and it s huge!!! In my eyes best film this year so far. Only sad thing is that the other characters like mr burns, chief wiggum and co are not seen too often.

but it felt more like 3 episodes tacked end on end rather a movie

it was good seeing as it had some of the morals of earlier seasons but then combined the incredibly stupid antics Homer displays in recent seasons

i mean srsly *SPOILER ALERT* who drives through 100 yards of NO DUMPING signs to dump pig shit into a toxic lake??

Absolute farking legend of a movie. And yes, the only disappointment was the very little amount of time given to characters like Wiggum, Mr. Burns and someone like, say, Sideshow Bob.

I just watched Irreversible...

if your stomach can handle it, watch it. It's just the most explicit and hardest movie I've seen my whole life. It's just too damn much...

But in terms of camera, cut and everything...freaking unbelievable!!!

Vincent Cassel is a God...Monica Bellucci is a goddess..and the movie..hell...it's 100 minutes of torture.

I got hold of this one few weeks ago but didn’t have the time to see it until today! I’m glad you mentioned it because other wise I would have missed it! It was brutal, sexy, and so god damn real! I did find some of its graphical violence a tad too much though…. But overall a good movie!
Bellucci in it was just the icing on the cake I guess…

I was disappointed with The Simpsons movie, I guess I got used to Family Guy / American Dad kind of outrageous comedy. The Simpsons was funny at times but way too focused on "sentimental stuff". Who GIVES A SHITE about how bad of a father Homer is????

I watched Stranger Than Fiction, fantastic movie.

If it were not for the Simpsons, there wouldn't be a Family Guy. Half of the Family Guy episodes are ripped off of Matt Groening's genius work...The Simpsons movie IMO was way better than Stewie Griffin's untold story because it involved smart comedy, not just the punchlines and the celebrity bashing here and there that you see on Family Guy.

I do like the Simpsons, a lot, I also like the latest series. Family Guy is just a superior league in my view, just breaks all the rules of being politically correct, in a society where if you sneeze most people call you a racist or a gay basher.

Simpsons is all about a parody of the classic "nice family shows" of the 80s. Still lots of fun, don't get me wrong. But not nearly as much as Family Guy or American Dad. That's just my opinion of course. I mean I rate Futurama among the highest, and I haven't got many supporters there. You really need to be into sci-fi to get it I guess.

Nah I like Futurama too, don't like American Dad but I do like Family Guy. All I'm saying is the people from the Simpsons are pioneers so I'll never rate Family Guy as good a show as The Simpsons no matter how funny it is.

Also, the Simpsons has wayyy more characters than Family Guy does.

Saw The Bourne Ultimatum tonight. It was pretty good. The action scenes were intense but the dialog, which there was too much of, was hilarious. Never laughed so much at moments that were supposed to be serious. Also the camera work left a little to be desired.
